Our dear kind and loving father in heaven, I come to you on bended knees and ask that you take each of the family members in your arms, hold them father and allow them to feel your peace, allow them strength through your comfort and allow them to find solace in your calm, touch their hearts with your healing hands and fill them with the knowledge that when it comes their time to go home that he will be there waiting for them, the problems that he pondered here on earth gone and only his clean, pure, spirit will be there. I know father that many will blame themselves for not being able to help him, to fix him, to make his troubles go away, allow them to melt in your arms and show them with your love that this was not anything that could have been changed by them. Father, so much grief, pain and anguish is in hearts this day, so much sadness, so much hurt, be the strength they need to come together and get through this. Please bless them with comfort that only you can give! God we love you and we know that with hope and faith all things are possible! I lift these prayers up in the name of our savior Jesus Christ and am humbled in the knowledge that you will be what is needed in each heart. Amen

ReplyDeleteIt will take some time, but Christ will bring his family closer to Him through this tragedy. May the Holy Spirit infuse this family with a strength they have not known before.
