Stop....Look....Listen!!!!

Good morning and happy Thursday,  54 degrees and a beautiful cotton ball cloud sky! God has outdone himself this morning, the blue on his pallet is one that only he could create, the white so pure and clean! Wow he is an amazing artist, just sitting here on my porch, head tilted toward the heavens watching as he throws another cloud in to replace the one that has slowly drifted away! Today I pray that you will be witness to something that takes your breath away, to something that validates to you that God is everywhere, that he is in all things, that he is right beside you, that he is your Father!
As I sat in prayer this morning, I felt at peace, I felt calm and comfort as I spoke my words, I asked God what I could do today to make a difference in someones life, I ask him to lead me to someone who was in need of a friend, who was in need of an ear, a shoulder, a smile, just anything that might lighten their load if only for a moment! I know that in the course of this day, I will cross the path of a person in need, I know that God will present to me someone who needs a kind word, I pray that in the hustle and bustle of my doings that he will trip me and knock me at the feet of this person so that I know where I am needed! I love when I ask him to do this for me, I have met many people on this journey. He has blessed me with so many, in my asking to be his example, he blesses me by introducing me to people who make a difference in my life. There is good in all people, there is love, compassion, soul, spirit, etc... sometimes these traits are hidden by the ravages of life, they are stowed away but it only takes someone who cares, someone who listens, someone who loves to bring it back out! May your hearts be willing to look, and listen today, God places people in our paths each day, it is easy to take detours, but when we stop and do his will, the blessings are tremendous! So today I ask that you take the time to STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN. Love to each of you in Jesus' beautiful name, amen.
