God sees all things and will never have you soar in the wrong direction!!!

Good morning and a happy day to you! I slept in a little later this morning so I apologize for being late with my blog! It is still a little overcast here this morning but not raining, it is a breezy 80 degrees with a bit of humidity in the air! The sun is shining brightly even through the clouds, the birds are singing loudly...the magpies especially loud this morning, they tend to think they are the king of the birds around here and like to bully the little birds. In the tall pine I can here our ring necked doves cooing, they are my favorite of all we have here in the yard!
In prayer this morning as I sat in my quiet place chatting with God I found myself being bothered by those loud, screeching magpies, the more I tried to settle into my quiet, happy place, the louder they seemed to screech. I lifted my head several times to see if I could determine what had them so riled up, what was making them so excessively loud this morning and then I saw it, there was a cat at the base of the tree that call home, the cat was being very sneaky, slinking around the tree trying to make his plan as to how he was going to attack! Instead of flying to a new safer area, the magpies continued to screech louder and louder, seeming to taunt the cat in a way! I was intrigued in knowing that a single stretch of the wings and a soar would bring the magpies to a much more safe place but they did not seem to want safety they seemed to want to stay at risk. In thinking of this, I thought how much people are like that, we know when things jeopardize our safety, we know when we are in peril, but still we continue to stay in the same situation, seemingly taunting fate! Today I pray that if you are in a situation that could bring harm to you, if you need to make a change so as not be like the magpie, that you will take the promptings, that you will recognize the potential danger and that you will make a plan with God's assistance, to have your feet on safer grounds! In our books of life, there are many hills and valleys, many heres and theres that we must recognize when he is ready for us to move into the next chapter, I am talking about the need for all of us to recognize when we need to be led to a safer situation...the one thing the magpie has going for them is that they sit high up in the tree and have the ability to look down and what could be coming their way, we sit low and have to depend upon God to be our eyes from that high place, we need to listen to him and be obedient in all things as he is the one who sees possible danger for us! If you need to make a change today, open your heart and listen to him, he sees all and will lead us to our next branch for safety.
May God bless you this day, may he help you to see what is needed in your life to keep you both, physically and emotionally safe, and may you open yourself to him so that he can map out for you the next step! Love in Christ to each of you!!!
