Good evening and happy Saturday night, it has been a cold and wet day today, rain and snow off and on, about an inch of show on the ground now and the night wind is so cold it will cut right through to the bone. It is already 32 degrees out with a wind chill of 24 degrees and will only continue to get colder throughout the night. I am so happy I do not have to be out in the elements, so very thankful for a warm home!
Tonight I invite you to pray with me, as I say each day, there are so many who are in need of the light of Christ, so many in need of the healing hand of our Father in Heaven, so many in need of renewed faith, so many in need of the heart warmth of God's hug. Let us get "on bended knees" and ask God for mercy for those who are in need, for grace and forgiveness for those in need, for peace, calm and comfort for those in need. God you know us, each and every one of us, you above anyone else know the struggles in our lives, the areas in which we need guidance, please take us into your arms and grant us our needs, help us in the areas we are most lacking and continue to bless us in the areas where we are most strong, lead us into the paths of those who we can benefit and let others who can benefit us with their faith into our paths. As we make ready to celebrate the Sabbath tomorrow allow us to sleep with peace and with beautiful dreams, allow us to rise up in the morning filled with your spirit and let your light shine through us so that others can see the light and if they are in the darkness they will come to us for inspiration, for up lift and for example! Give us strength to stand strong against the adversary this week father, let us fill out tank tomorrow and know that we have you in us to keep us running down the right road. I love you so much father, I ask these blessing and mercies upon each of us and I do all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Friendship Quote for Friday Night
We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over.
Samuel Johnson ~
