National Prayer 2013, this is what I am praying for!!!!

Its Thursday and from behind the glass it looks like it is warm and so very inviting outside, the sun has just come up over the mountain and it looks so amazing...I am bundled up in my sweats with my winter socks on because what you see is not what you get when you step outside, it is bitter cold and the wind acts as a knife ready to cut through uncovered skin. How funny it is to sit in and really think because of the sun that it is warm and ready for some porch sitting! This is happening all around me as I sit and ponder this morning, what we see is not what we are getting. Today is the day for national prayer..we really need to hit our knees, quit letting the wool be pulled over our eyes and pray with true intent for OUR country to be healed, for what we stand for to be given back to us and for us to once again be the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA... there is a song that just came to mind, "we have to stand for something or we'll fall for anything" We have to take a stand of protection for these lands....ARE YOU STANDING???

In prayer this morning I said special prayers for our country that we might allow God to come back in and once again bring us United, for our leaders to have their eyes opened and to see what we as American citizens are in need of, for our heads of state to come together and provide and protect their people, for our religious leaders to stand in unison and be in alignment with our Father in heaven, to pray the prayer of healing over our lands, to ask for God to cleanse us, to take away the nip and tuck and allow us to stand strong. For our teachers, that they be appreciated more, that they be paid for what they do and for them to be focused on the children they are teaching and not on the politics that are being forced down their throats, for our soldiers both on foreign land and here on our home lands that they be appreciated and that they be taken care of in a way that they are even more proud to risk their lives to continue protecting this beautiful country. For the ones who have thrown up their hands and given up, for those who are disillusioned by what is being promised but never being given, for those who have lived all of their lives on the basis of America the land of the free, who now are seeing those freedoms being stripped from them, for all who read, study, listen to the waxing and waning news each day, for those who don't like what they are hearing who change the channel until they find what sounds good to them, for all of the ones standing firm on their knowledge of what is needed in this country to rope it back in and make us proud to live on USA soil. Father there are so many lies, there is so much corruption, and each day we see them dropping you out more and more, if I be the last person standing then so be it, I will never relent, I will never waiver, I will never take the mark of the beast, I will gladly die for you, I will gladly hold fast to my faith and my beliefs, I will honor you until I take my last breath here and then will soar with the angles to stand by your side. In the name of Jesus Christ, provide for us what is needed for us to stand strong once again, provide for us the leaders that we need to carry us through this violent storm that we are calling life and lift us so that we can once again stand without fear of punishment for standing firm in your name. Amen!

I am sickened at all of the new "rules" and "regulations" that are being speculated on, the news that the pentagon will punish those who speak of religion in our military, when this is stripped from a person for fear of persecution, there is a huge problem, where has freedom of speech gone, where has the lack of fear gone, where has the United We Stand gone???...Let us all come together and lift this very prayer today for a re~joining of our reasons for being PROUD AMERICANS...

The Lord's Prayer Words
(traditional)

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.
