Tuesday (biggest loser) night, and I am a loser tonight as well!!! UGH

Good ( biggest loser) Tuesday evening, I am not very happy to announce that I am not a loser this week, when I stepped on the scale this morning I was not a happy camper...I did not lose this week, I GAINED...ugh, I have been struggling with my health this week and am holding a lot of fluid, more than usual, my legs looks as if someone took a bicycle pump, injected and pumped...swollen legs and feet! I think this might be the culprit to my weight gain, but never the less, I still GAINED!

I will not get down, I will not give up, I will keep on plugging along and I know that I can do it! I just have a few negative effects that will make it harder for me, the swelling comes and goes, hopefully as I get my weight down it will come much less often!

Today has been a cold, dreary day here but there was a light that was shined upon me this morning that even the darkest clouds could not have dimmed, I got to see my grandbaby for the first time, granted it was via an ultrasound picture that was forwarded to me from my dauther's phone but still it was the first picture ever taken of him/her and it brightened my world!

I invite you to pray with us this day, so many are in need of prayer, so many are battling with illness, father ease their pain, free them from fear and allow them to feel your love as comfort and calm. Father bless those struggling with addiction, with depression, with loss of loved ones, with loss of faith and those who cannot seem to find their way. Father tonight I ask that you lay your hands on hearts that are broken and give them a new beat, give them a steadier pace, lay your hands upon tired minds, allow them calm and quiet so that they can her your still quiet voice, father lay your hands upon our spirits that we can feel your will and so that we can straighten our shoulders, point our toes and walk in the right direction.  Please bless my daughter and my unborn grandchild, keep them filled with strength and in good health be with our soldiers this night Lord, let them feel our love and our appreciation for all that they do to ensure we are safe and free, bless our country God that we bring you back into the mix for without you we cannot prosper and grow. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask these blessings and mercies, amen.
I ask you to pray for those you know that are in need, pray for those also who hurt you, who make you cry and who you think  unworthy of prayer, for Christ died for all of us and we should pray for everyone no matter their character! I love each of you and invite you to leave comment, request prayer, and pray with us. If you cannot for some reason leave comment here please feel free to leave it on facebook Dawn Elise Ashley or email me dawfor@msn.com..I look forward to hearing from you:)
Peace be with you this night!

Some scripture on praying for others, may it give you knowledge of what is right!

Job 42:10

And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Ephesians 6:18

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

James 5:13

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

Romans 8:26-27

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

John 15:7

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

1 Timothy 2:1

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,

John 14:13

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Matthew 6:10

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Good evening and happy Saturday night! It has been a nice day for me and I got to tend my 2 youngest g~babes for a few hours, they are always so good for Mimi and Poppi, it is a joy to get to spend special time with them!
I am going to make this evenings blog short as the hours is later than normal! I apologize for this but sometimes I am busy with things that do not afford me the opportunity to be on the computer like kissing and hugging my little babes:) ...It is never to late however to pray and I ask you to pray with me this evening, I know that each of us has special specific needs and I know that there are so many that you know personally that could use a miracle or two. I am asking special prayer for my friend whose mother and mother in law are both battling cancer and are just beginning the treatments! Please pray for peace, calm, and comfort for the both of them and allow them to know that so many love them and are willing for them to respond well to the treatments and have a wonderful quality of life! Let us continue to pray for all others that are dealing with illness, rehabilitation, depression, addiction, broken relationships, and for those who have lost their way, let us remember to pray for those who bring hurt upon us, for those who think only of themselves, for those who are not diligent in the rearing of their children, give them a little push Father and wake them up. I continue to pray for our military and for our country that it be true and our soldiers be brought home as soon as they can be and that our politicians quit the arguing and look at what is most important ..a solution to our failing country. Please continue to lift my daughter and my unborn grandbaby in prayer that the queasies leave her body and that the baby continues to grow strong and healthy.
May God bless each and every one of you this night with a peace filled sleep and a wake up in the morning that is filled with a rested body and a spirit filled mind:) Love to each of you in the name of Christ, amen....

It would probably do some of us a lot of good to occasionally say,
"God, I don't know why you want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it
and it's awfully heavy. But, if you want me to carry it, I will."
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
GOD is my source of existence and my Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and every day.
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
