I am so very pleased to announce that my baby girl is ENGAGED!! I am so very happy for her and for Derek. When my daughter met his young man I knew it was different than any "new" guy she had met. She was smitten with him from the very beginning and I have so loved watching the relationship grow into something beautiful and amazing! Derek is indeed the answer to my prayers. He is kind, he is compassionate and he loves her with all of his heart! I ask our Father in heaven to bless them both with a lifetime of love and an abundance of laughter! I not only will be gaining a "son" but also will be blessed with my first grand baby in the late spring! What a new year this will be!

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said,

and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man.”
