Rocks and Sand
A philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in
front of him. When class began, wordlessly he picked up a large
empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, rocks
about 2" in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them
into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course,
rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The students laughed. The professor picked up a box of sand and
poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
"Now," said the professor, "I want you to recognize that this is
your life. The rocks are the important things - your family, your
partner, your health, your children - anything that is so important
to you that if it were lost, you would be nearly destroyed.
"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your
house, your car.
"The sand is everything else. The small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first, there is no room for the
pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend
all your energy and time on the small stuff, you will never have
room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your
partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean
the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal.
"Take care of the rocks first - the things that really matter. Set
your priorities. The rest is just sand."

At the hospital with my son its not good but he is going to be ok please keep him in your thoughts and prayers ill keep everyone updated special thanks to my brother for getting here so fast and to my mom talking me through stuff love you guys
Prayer warriors, we need prayer for this little one, he just got his finger severely injured and is in need of mighty prayers for the doctors to save the finger, Father God, please guide their hands skillfully, give them much knowledge and allow the finger to be saved. Father hold this baby in your arms and take his pain, hold him and lay your healing hands upon him. God is amazing his will be done! I ask these mercies in the name of Jesus the Christ, amen.
Asking special prayer for a brother who is making strides and proving that miracles really do happen, he has been down to his last of days and through his faith and prayers he is back up and forging forward in recovery. What a blessing he has received, please pray with me for continued healing to bring him back to 100% We love you Father in heaven and ask these favors in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
asking you to join me in prayer for a man dealing with health issues, father hold him in your arms and provide him with comfort, lay your healing hands upon his heart and bless him with a miraculous healing! Father also continue to bless a daughter who has been down such a long and bumpy road, she is a miracle in the fact that she has pulled through and I know father that you would not have pulled her through without reason, please bless her with renewed health, bless her with renewed faith, bless her with peace of mind and with understanding above all else. I also ask special prayer for the wife and mother that she continue to be blessed with strength and faith, she has been through such heartache and worry father, this day allow her comfort and calm, allow her the knowledge that an abundance of blessings will be hers for her obedience and her never waivering faith. God we love you and humbly ask these favors in the name of Jesus our savor, amen.
