Thoughts on Today's Verse...
I guess it's only natural to think that the problems of our own time in history are due to the pervasive depravity of our own time. Thankfully the Bible repeatedly reminds us that God's people have always had to swim upstream against culture. As children of God, we are to be bright stars in the dark night sky of our secular culture. Rather than constantly complaining about our worldly culture or our time in history, let's light the path for others to see another way to live.
My Prayer...
Almighty God, thank you for calling me to such a high and holy task. I want to shine like a star against the darkness of the culture around me. Please help me as I seek to live a holy life that has a redemptive influence on those around me who do not know Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I am in need of all prayer warriors, my youngest G~babe boy is being taken to his physician as we speak, at this moment we do not know the nature of the problem he is having and will not know until he is checked out. I am asking you to pray with me for whatever is going on to be diagnosed and treated rapidly, leaving him with no further problems. God we come to you ~on bended knees~ and pray for the blessing of health in this precious little one. Assit the physician in determining the problem and heal him by your hands. In the name of our savior we pray. Amen.
Prayers answered, my little buddy was diagnosed with a mile concussion, don't know the how or when he got it but the dr. seems to feel this is the problem. I thank you for praying for him and I thank God for his healing hand!
