Is your hut burning????

Good evening  to everyone, I pray this day has been filled with only good things and that now you are at home ready to kick back and relax, if you are going out and about I pray that you are safe on the roads. Today has been a good day, I had a wonderfully long chat with the sweetest girl in my life this morning, setting the mood for me to be light hearted and happy all day!
Our day was a bit warmer outside with glorious sunshine, we are expecting conditions to go downhill for the weekend with a forecast of snow..ugh..I am just not ready for that!!1 I would be honored if you would pray with me this evening, we all know people that are in need of special, specific prayer and when we honor them with prayer we are honoring God with our faith in him. Ask with me for calm, care, and comfort and allow God to do as he has promised. I love each of you and so appreciate you for the things that you do and the way you always come to my aid in prayer! In Jesus' name I ask for mercy and grace for each of you, amen.

I came across this story and felt it would be a great one for this night! There are answers for everything in the scriptures. believe and have faith!

IS YOUR HUT BURNING?

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.
Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect Him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. Then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost.
He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.
Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We  saw your smoke signal," they replied.
It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground-it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.
For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for it.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that his grandmother has passed but praise the Lord she is no longer suffering, praise be to him that she is being greeted by those who have been eagerly awaiting her homecoming, I have no doubt that she is walking the golden path at the side of God and will soon be soaring with the angles that are no doubt weeping as they have added a new member to their celestial home. I ask God to lay his healing hands upon the mother that she will wax strong and that her heart will be healed, be a shield of protection for her that the loss suffered will not be a stronger upset to her heart, that she know that your will has been done and that she can now rest knowing her mother is in a better place. Father I ask that you hold my sweet friend in your arms this night, that you pull her in close and allow her to feel the pure, unconditional love you have designed just for her, allow her to cover herself with your robes to warm her heart, to cover the pain and to fill her once again with hope and faith that will be untouchable. Father she has struggled with so much as of late and needs to know that you will never leave her side, allow her a sign this night that you are standing steadfast and that as long as she reaches her hand out to you that you will take it and hold it for all eternity. Bless her friend as he struggles with the loss of his grandmother and fears for the health of his mother, love him father, touch him, fill each of their hearts with comfort, peace and calm. I ask these blessings in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
I love you my friend and will post this on my blog so that many can pray for you, don't ever give up and be sure and read my blog tonight, it has some scripture that will help you, now I know why I was prompted to write it! God bless you my friend!
