Happy Sunday evening, I pray your day has been a spirit filled one and that you are all snuggled in at home now, relaxing and getting ready for the coming week. I pray that you are filled with the spirit of God and that you know there is nothing that can be thrown at you that with God's hand you cannot get through.
Today was a very special birthday for a very special little girl in my life, my little namesake, well my second one, I have one in Dallas Texas who was given my middle name and now this one Korbyn Elise! I have been with her since in was first announced that she was in her mommy's tummy, was with her the first moments of her birth and have been with her much in the last year! She is a delightful child, very happy, always laughing and has such a great love for Wayde, aka "Poppi"
new baby "KoKo" about 1 month old
1 year old "Koko" today!
Tonight I ask you to join me in prayer asking our precious Father in Heaven to provide peace, calm and comfort for each of us who are in need, asking God to continue to provide us with his unconditional love, to continue to place people in our lives who give us inspiration and positive example, asking God to allow his strength to be ours when we feel there is no strength let in our bodies. I ask Him to bless you abundantly, providing you with all of your needs. I ask God to hold all of the children and fill their parents with the knowledge of what is needed for His children to grow and flourish, allowing them the knowledge of rearing with God in the forefront of all things. I ask that you pray for ease of pain for those suffering illness and for ease of broken hearts for those who have suffered loss, asking for our youth to be free from bullies and for them to recognize when a peer is in need of a kind word and a friend. I ask that we all, each of us be more aware of people who are struggling with finances, with depression, with addiction...don't judge them, take a long look and ask God to guide you in a way that you will make a difference in their lives. I ask these blessings, mercies and graces humbly in the name of Christ. Amen.
I love this poem because it keeps me focused on what a real friend is. I pray you will read this often and apply it in your relationships, with us all following these words there will be a lot more genuine friends in this world!
My friendship oath to you...
When you are sad,
I will dry your tears,When you are scared,
I will comfort your fears
When you are worried,
I will give you hope.
When you are confused,
I will help you cope.
And when you are lost,
And can't see the light
I shall be your beacon
Shinning ever so bright.
This is my oath.
I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask?
Because you're my friend.

Prayer warriors, we need you again! A match has been found for Dad and he will be having a transplant tonight! Please pray for the surgery to go smoothly, for the surgeons, for Dad's recovery and of course for the family who has given us the most amazing gift we could ever ask for. Thank you so much!
Prayer warriors please join me in lifting this man in prayer, let us "on bended knees" ask for the surgeons hands to be led by our Father in heaven, please allow your strength to be his father so that his body can accept the transplant with no complication, bless the family who has made this beautiful gift available to his man and bless his family with peace, calm, and comfort! God we love you and we know that your will be done, allow him your mercy, and your grace to be healed by your hands! In the name of Jesus we ask these blessings, amen.
