Today I give Thanks for...
November 01.2011~~~ I give thanks on this first day of November to my Father in Heaven for giving his only begotten son as a sacrifice so that I might have eternal life.
November 02, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for entrusting in me the most beautiful, amazing, daughter a mother can have, one who is filled with the spirit of our Lord and Savior, one who is respectful, respectable, reasonable, loving, loyal...she is the biggest blessing in my l ife!
November 03, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for the wonderful man in my life. Wayde has given me new life, he has shown me that there is "goodness" in life, that there is someone who loves me for me. He is the most caring, kind person I have ever met. His relationship with God is amazing and such an example to me. I love him with all of my being!
November 04, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in heaven for Wayde's sons, John and James. I love them so very much, they are such good men, much like their father, they are honest and sincere, they are intelligent and funny and they have won my heart over. I am so blessed to be accepted by them.
November 05, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for my mom, although we are very far apart, my heart is filled with love for her in all that I do. My mom is an amazingly strong woman, she is a friend to all that know her. I know she has made great sacrifice in her life to raise all 7 of us and has always put herself last. God blessed me abundantly when he chose her to be mine.
November 06, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for my brothers and sisters, when God placed us all together as a family he sure did a wonderful thing for us. Being step and half to each of them has never been an issue. I love each one of them with all of my heart and there is nothing that I would not do if they needed me.
November 07, 2011~~~ I thank my Father in Heaven for my nephews and nieces, even though I have been away for much of their lives, I adore them and pray each day that their lives be "full".
November 08, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for my daughter's father and her step mother, even though we could not make it in our marriage, he has always been the best father a father can be, and she has been her "mother" she has loved Megan since age two and has never treated her any differently than she has her own child.
November 09, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for my extended family, brother and sister in laws, Aunts and Uncles, and my cousins. I have been away for many years and have missed out on much of the happenings in my family. I do know that we have always had a special bond and that can never be taken away.
November 10, 2011~~~ I give thanks to my Father in heaven for my G~Babes, I have been blessed with getting to "share" 6 of the most precious little ones in the world. I could love them no more if they were my own flesh and blood. I love being their "Mimi" and I look forward to many years with them.
November 11, 2001~~~ I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for our Veteran's. If it had not been for each of them we would not have the freedoms that we take for granted today. I think we do not fully realize what gift they have given us, the sacrifices they made and continue to make are so appreciated.
November 12, 2011~~~I give thanks for my friends, I have not a huge number of friends but I have the best of friends, I have had to depend upon them much in the last years and they have always been here for me. I am blessed beyond measure.
November 13, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in Heaven for the man who has my daughter's heart, I could not have fashioned a man any finer for her. He loves her unconditionally and takes care of her in a manner that is very pleasing to me. He is a perfect example of "good" and will be the greatest father to my grandchildren...yes I did say grandchildren meaning more than 1 Derek...:)
November 14, 2011~~~I give thanks to our Father in heaven this day for my sense of sight, I so love to sit and watch as the sun comes up over the mountain tops, the snow on the mountains, the changing colors of each season, the first buds on the trees, the birds in flight, my most favorite the SUNSET, I could go on and on forever. What an amazing artist He is!
November 15, 2011~~~ I give thanks to our Father in heaven for the gift of hearing, I have always so enjoyed music, the beautiful sound of wind rushing through the trees, the song of the crickets on a still summer night, the beautiful song of the birds as I sit out on my patio each morning in the spring, summer and fall, the first time I heard my daughter cry...so much that I enjoy and so seldom do I put this thank you into my prayers.
November 16, 2011~~~I give thanks to our Father in heaven for the gift of heart. I know the heart comes with the physical body and without the heart to pump blood throughout the body one cannot live. The heart is also the vital center and source of one's being, emotions, and sensibilities. It is also the home of Jesus Christ, Father God and the Holy Spirit, this is where they dwell in my person. I am so thankful that I have a heart filled with compassion and love.
November 17, 2011~~~I give thanks to our Father in heaven for compassion, without compassion there would be no rhyme nor reason in life, we see people with hurt, pain,and sadness, and we, not only feel the emotions, we like knights on white steeds, come racing in to try to comfort. Compassion is one of my favorite heart gifts, when I see people come together in prayer and in "deed" it is most humbling.
November 18, 2011~~~I give thanks to our Father in heaven for my pets, my two dogs give me unconditional love, no matter my mood, no matter how much time I have to dedicate to them each day, they are always there for me, the want nothing more than a kind word and a loving hand to pet them. So many could learn so much about compassion and sheer love from a dog! My cat who keeps to herself, who gives love on her terms but always seems to know when I am in need of just a little extra love, she seems to always be there when I am feeling low and in need of just a little more attention than she usually gives, her sense of "me" is amazing. Many could learn about watching and knowing when one is in need of just a little more, from a cat. My bird...well what can I say, he never neglects letting me know he is here, he is a bit loud and demands attention, I would have to say though that when he was singing he is delightful, he whistles, he jabbers, he dances and sings...it brings a smile to my heart! I don't know what many could learn from him unless it be patience...
November 19, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the blessing of love, the ability to give love with all of my heart, the ability to feel love given me, the ability to see the beauty of love in others. The most simple answer to the question is LOVE, it is the key to everything. Start with loving yourself and then share your wealth!
November 20, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the blessing of home. I have always love the saying "home is where the heart is" no matter if you own it, are buying it or rent it as long as your heart is in it, it is home. I am so thankful for my shelter from the storm.
November 21, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for allowing me strength and courage. I have been ridiculed many times for being so verbal in my faith and for being so quick to offer prayer. I have been called a Jesus Freak, I have been shunned for sharing in my faith and I have been called a hypocrite for not being perfect yet still speaking of God. I am not perfect, have never claimed to be, I am very much imperfect. I do however love my Father in heaven, and my savoir Jesus Christ without them I have nothing, I am nothing and I will never be anything. They somehow keep me filled with perseverance, strength, and courage to carry on!
November 22, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for allowing me the gift of understanding. When I look at a person I look into them and not just at them, it is such a blessing to me to get to see a persons heart. The power of discernment (Discernment is a term used to describe the activity of determining the value and quality of a certain subject or event.) is very prominent in my life and I am so very thankful for being able to recognize those who are good and those who have intent on hurting me.
November 23, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for "facebook" I know this might sound funny to you, but it is such a blessing to me to be able to lift those in need in prayer, to give my heartfelt humility to Father God, in fervent prayer for so many. People that I have not seen in over 30 years are now a daily part of my life, people whom I have never met have become such a huge part of my life. I am so thankful for the example so many are in my life and to be able to share my thoughts with so many. Technology is an amazing thing!
November 24, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the roof over my head and the food in my tummy! Tonight as so many will find a bench in a park to rest their weary bodies, as they seek shelter from the cold and the elements praying for the night to turn to day so that they can make their way again. So many today who stook in line at shelters and soup kitchens for nourishment, not even realizing it was thanksgiving only hungering for sustenance. Thank you God this night for room and board and bless those who are without this night!
November 25, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for my health, it is not the best of the best, I have taken it for granted for the majority of my life, but still I have it and have nothing that cannot be controlled with medication and with weight loss. I ask him each day to bless me with the strength to deny the foods I love so much. I am on the right track and will get back to a healthy body weight!
November 26, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for allowing me special messages when I pray, for guiding me step by step in knowing what I am in need of recognizing and in need of working on. I am finding that in my awakenings and in my sharing with others that I can be a voice to not just myself to many in the same situation as I.
November 27, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the gift of a smile tonight, how something so simple can take a broken heart and place it on the mend, how one facial movement can take a really messed up day and make it better, how a little bit of compassionate understanding and validation can make a world of difference. I love the gift of "smile" and share it as often as I can!
November 28, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the hope of another day. I get on my pity pot from time to time and have to call upon God for strength and patience, I have to ask for perseverance and for his power, when I go to bed I ask for forgiveness for letting go and ask him for the bessing of another day!!! When I awake the next day I raise my hands to the heavens and thank him for another chance! For a fresh start at getting it right!
November 29, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for "prayer warriors" So many times I have come in need of special specific prayer and your are always there, you flood the Lord's system with heartfelt prayers and I know that because of you the prayers get answered and miracles abound.
November 30, 2011~~~I give thanks to my Father in heaven for the ones who started this "month of November giving thanks" routine. I have learned so much this month and have realized how often I neglect to give thanks for blessings and I have realized how easy it is to sit and take time to thank him. I pray that each of us will be more mindful of the things that God blesses us with. Even though I will not be posting this on my blog each night I still will be so aware thanks to all of you! God bless you all in the new year!!!

I am thankful for a woman who is bold in professing her faith and does not keep her light under a bushel! I am thankful there are people out there who will stop at nothing to profess our heavenly fathers love and mercies .
