Who is watching you??...little ears, little eyes...

Happy Tuesday morning to all, we are dreary skied this morning, a bit warmer but really hazy thus I feel lazy! I pray this day is going well for you, that you have met with only positive situations and that if you have chanced upon negative, you have kicked it to the curb and kept on walking!!
In prayer this morning, I sat under the hazy blanket of the sky, rested my head on the chair back, let my eyes wonder the sky, and felt the love of God in my heart! It is amazing how much I depend on my time with our Father in Heaven in the morning to get my day off to a good start, no matter if I sleep late or rise early it is the highlight of my morning and I have come to depend on this time! As I was bringing my morning prayer to a close I asked as I always do, for God to lead me to where he needs me, to show me the way to someone who is in need of a friend, I know that he will and I am eager to see in which direction I will be led. He is amazing my friends, once I figured out how to sit and listen to his still quiet voice I feel as if I am unstoppable. Thank you Father for having faith in me to listen to you, thank you for having faith in me to entrust those who are in need of "heart" thank you father  for allowing me to do your work here! God bless my friends with all of their needs today, allow them to feel you love and your will for them. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Years ago, my daughter made a picture for me, this poem was on the frame and it touched me so, I have kept it all of these years and when I saw it in my search for a lesson this morning, it hit me and made me cry. We must think of little ears and little eyes, we must realize that our actions are what they have to go on, what they have to learn from, what they will model themselves after! We must be mindful at all times because little eyes and ears are always around!

When You Thought I Was Not Looking

A message every parent should read, because your children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake for me and I learned that little things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer, and I knew there is a God I could always talk to and I learned to trust in God.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make a meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you give of your time and money to help people who had nothing and I learned that those who have something should give to those who don't.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me good night and I felt loved and safe.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you take care of our house and everyone in it and I learned we have to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't feel good and I learned that I would have to be responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears come from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I learned most of life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I looked at you and wanted to say, Thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.'"
