Good evening my friends, I pray you have had a wonderful day and that you now are on your way to rest and relaxation, spending time with the ones you love! It was a hazy, yucky, day here in Utah but am praising the Lord for the 57 degree weather...
In prayer this night I prayed my normal, usual prayers asking God for mercy, grace and favor for all and I prayed for compassion, Lord, help us to remember that others don't always see the way we do, hear what we hear, feel what we feel, or understand things the way we've come to understand them. You give each of us gifts that are uniquely ours but so often we fail to value the gift in another, judging other gifts as wrong or somehow less important than our own. Give us the compassion you want us to have, O Father, and teach us to embrace each other with compassionate arms, no matter what our age, color, creed, history, or belief. Help us to remember that you are Life Itself, and that you are using every one of our unique gifts to bring us together with you once again. Father I lift these prayers in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Have you ever heard people say..."what a coincidence" ? I personally do not believe in coincidence, I believe in blessings and answered prayers!! What about you???
Mysterious Ways
God sometimes works in mysterious and wondrous ways. If you don’t believe me then let me share with you what happened here recently. I was out walking my dogs a few days ago when my neighbor called out to me. She was upset and asked if I had seen her own little black dog. It had gotten out of her yard and hadn’t come back since that morning. I spent the rest of that afternoon helping my neighbors search for him but to no avail. That night I said a little prayer that he would be found or follow his nose back home.
The next day I was catching up with some friends on Facebook when I saw a picture that my cousin had posted online. There he was. His black furry face was looking sadly into the camera. I quickly let my cousin know that it may be my neighbor’s dog that she had found and rescued. Then my son, neighbor, and I hopped into my car and drove the half mile to my cousin’s house. The little pooch was waiting for us on the porch and was more than happy to get back home into his owner’s loving arms.
Now isn’t it amazing that a lost little dog found his way safely through woodlands and a very busy roadway to the home of my cousin? Isn’t it amazing that my cousin would post his picture online and that it would travel through cyberspace right to my waiting eyes the next day? Is it all just a big coincidence or is there perhaps a Loving, Heavenly hand at work behind it all?

"Coincidence" is the world's way of explaining things that they can't explain! Heavenly hand... God loves His children, hears our prayers, and satisfies even the simplest of requests according to His will. I think this is a very cool account of just how AWESOME God is!
