Hello and happy Wednesday, wow this week is flying right by~~somehow I am a day behind~~~ I pray this day is going well for you and that a special prayer you have been praying will be answered for you today. I have stood witness to so many wonderful prayers being answered this week and am praying that more and more are revealed to us. The best gift you can give one is to pray for them, to get down on bended knees and ask God to provide their needs. If we all take time each day to do this I know we all can overcome the negative in life!!!
Today I am on a soapbox of sorts....I am so run down and tired of people who will not take responsibility for their actions....I am so tired of the nay, nay, nay people...FOLKS if you are going to do the action then OWN the action. Don't go around doing what you know is not right and then point fingers at everyone else laying blame on them. "everytime you point the finger of blame there are three fingers pointing right back at you" I make mistakes all of the time, heck every day of my life I do something wrong, the only thing I can say about me is that I OWN every mistake I make....I am not proud of this fact but I darn sure am not going to point fingers and accuse when I am the very one who made the choice to act as I have....we have got to get real people, when we are called to the judgement it will not matter how many fingers you pointed or at who you pointed at...God will not ask about anyone else, HE will ask YOU about what YOU have done...are you getting the picture??? We all will have to answer only for ourselves...no matter who has hurt you, no matter who has sinned against you, no matter who has done what...that will NOT be the issue..the issue will be~~~HOW DID YOU BEHAVE, HOW DID YOU HANDLE IT, HOW DID YOU CHOOSE???? So we need to start..this very day....being responsible for each and every one of our decisions...no one but you, yourself, has control of what you choose to do in life, therefore you have to stand and take all that comes along with your decisions...the good and the bad....I raise my hand today and say to you, I am not perfect, I make bad choices, I do things wrong, and I ask for forgiveness...I DO NOT BLAME OTHERS!!!
In Galatians 6:5 we are told..."For every man should bear his own burden"
"This seems to be a kind of proverbial saying; and it means here, every man shall have his proper reward. If he is a virtuous man, he will be happy; if a vicious man, he will be miserable. If a virtuous man, he will have the source of happiness in himself; if a sinner, he must bear the proper penalty of his sin. In the great day every man shall be properly rewarded. Knowing this, we should be little anxious about the sentiments of others, and should seek to maintain a good conscience toward God and man. The design of this passage is, to prevent people from forming an improper estimate of themselves, and of the opinions of others. Let a man feel that he is soon to stand at the judgment-seat, and it will do much to keep him from an improper estimate of his own importance; let him feel that he must give an account to God, and that his great interests are to be determined by the estimate which God will affix to his character, and it will teach him that the opinion of the world is of little value. This will restrain his vanity and ambition. This will show him that the great business of life is to secure the favor of God, and to be prepared to give up his account; and there is no way so effectual of checking ambition, and subduing vanity and the love of applause, as to feel that we are soon to stand at the awesome bar of God."
Proverbs 9:12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer."
Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
1 Corinthians 3:8 The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
