Good morning my friends, another weekend is here, I am sure many will be busy finishing up shopping for Thanksgiving and becoming more and more stressed as the big day arrives. I pray that you realize that nothing is ever perfect and the more you stress the more things go wrong.
I had wonderful opportunity to meet a new friend on facebook last night, well I guess I should say a new old friend, he has been a friend on facebook for a very long time but I only had occasion to chat with him last night, he lost part of his leg a few years ago and caught my eye a while back with his wonderful attitude about life...you know me, nothing catches my eye faster than a person who has overcome adversity and who just loves living life!!! We spoke last evening and although he is having trouble with an infection in the same leg right now he is not letting it get him down, I asked if we, as prayer warriors, could lift him in prayer and he readily agreed so if you would join me in doing so it would be much appreciate. We come asking our Father in heaven to wrap a shield of healing around his leg, to take the infection and allow it to heal leaving no further problems, Father bless this sweet man by your very hands. In the name of Jesus Christ we lift you Joe and we stand on the promise that you will be healed. Amen.
It is so wonderful to be able to pray and to know that our prayers will be answered, we sometimes expect immediate results and when they don't come we become disillusioned, we begin to let our faith waiver and we become agitated with impatience. God does answer prayers, boy am I here to tell you he does...many times for me the answers come at what seems the last and final hours but they come and when they do they mean so very much. We all have to struggle so that we can appreciate the good, we all have to be patient as God has a plan for us, HE knows what we need and don't need and HE knows at which time to bless us that it will make the most impact. If we had everything we need when we need it how would we ever know what it is to rely only on our faith? How would we know that HE will never let us fail and how would we know that we can make a difference? HE does not want to give us everything that easily, HE needs for us to try, to exhaust every possibility, HE needs for us to battle, He needs for us to be humbled and HE needs for us to show HIM just what we are made of....HE needs for us to be strong and to have faith and to believe in HIM when all seems lost. I always say "God don't want junk" HE wants the ones who are determined, who are persistant, who persevere, who through all remain faithful...how would HE know that we possess these qualities if HE gave every time we thought we needed. I have learned in the last few years that I can do a lot with very little, I can make it on what most people waste and I can continue to praise HIS name and thank HIM even when I am down to nothing and seeing no way out....Today look at your life, how many times have you really been left out in the cold? How many times have you parished from the "lack of" how many times has HE let you down??? I think we all will agree that HE has not let us down....HE has stood by us when vast numbers have turned away, HE has held us while we cried ourselves to sleep, HE has kept true to his promises. Lets take a moment to really sit and ponder this, lets take a moment to give credit where credit is due and lets lift our arms high in the air and give a hearty THANK YOU for all that HE has done in our lives....my life does not revolve around the "would've"s" and "should've's" and "could've's" it revolves around the "what will be" I am marching bolding forward because I know one day all of my sad days will have been worth it when I enter the kingdom of heaven and earn my wings! God bless each of you with "hindsight" today....join me in the march and let us be bold and courageous knowing that God has our backs and with HIM we will never fail!!! I love each of you and wish you grins and giggles!!!
