Prayers for Sandy Hook Elementary....such sadness!

It is such as sad day as news is coming in concerning the shooting in Connecticut at an elementary school. My heart is breaking and the tears don't seem to want to stop falling. So much death, so many involved, so many scars on little hearts as they see the sickness and disgust of this world we have created. I pray for each of them that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit, that they feel the very hand of God laid upon them giving them comfort. (sobbing)

We ask how things like this can happen, how can such anger be in one person to take the lives of others, how in the world can things like this take place. I have said it before and I will continue to say it until I take my last breath. God has been taken out of the equation, we are not allowed to pray in schools, we have asked God to step away, any time that God is asked to step away he obeys, he will not go where he is not wanted. We have got to take a stand and place God back into every facet of our lives, we as a United nation have got to put back what we know is truth and what we know is needed!
Please pray with me now...

Father God we come to you on bended knees with such grief and sadness in our hearts, we ask that you wrap your robes of comfort around all who have been involved in this tragedy, we ask that you lay a hand of peace and calm upon all, for the families receiving news of their loved ones being taken from them so violently we ask that you pull them into your lap father and hold them tightly, allow them to fall into your chest as they sob and be their strength as they try to understand what has just taken place. Father bless each person adult and child as they try to come to terms with what they have witnessed. Oh Lord be the light in this storm and know that we do need you in all aspects of our lives, we need you to come to our rescue. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask for mercy, grace, favor, and abundant love. Amen.
