Heather Desiree Gower Robertson, 27 of Pearland, Texas formerly of West Columbia; passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born July 13, 1985 in Lake Jackson, Texas to Rick and Laurie Gower. She was a special girl who never knew a stranger. Everyone she met was instantly her friend. She was a happy, upbeat woman who made everyone’s day better. She loved to spend time with her family and camping. She graduated from CHS in 2003; she married her high school sweetheart of 10 years on March 23, 2012; andrecently gave birth to the light of her eye, Zachary.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at First Baptist Church of West Columbia with Pastor Kenny James officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven Of Rest in West Columbia. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh and Matt Huffman, Dustin Gordon, Rowdy Lopez, Richie Counts and D.R. Mahurin. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Johns and Jeremy Dougharty.

Heather is preceded in death by her grandpa Tooter Gower and her grandmother, Joyce Johnston both of Bonne Terre, MO and her husband’s grandfather, Robert Straub.

She is survived by her husband, Brandon Robertson; son, Zachary Thomas Robertson, parents, Rick and Laurie Gower of Sweeny; two sisters, Nikki Dougharty (Jeremy) of Sweeny; Breezy Johns (Gerald) of Angleton; grandmother, Kathryn Gower of Bonne Terre, MO. She is also survived by her husband’s family; his grandparents, Joyce and Wade Williamson of Pearland; Jack and Faye Robertson of Sweeny; his father, Jack Robertson and wife, Rhonda of Lake Jackson; his mother, Becky Straub of Edna; his brothers, Taylor Hudgeons of West Columbia and Brady Hudgeons of Angleton; and his sister, Ciara Robertson of Lake Jackson along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved dearly.
