This morning in prayer, I prayed my usual morning prayer, read through some posts and was shocked to find that I have no prayer requests in my inbox and none of the main post page! Did we all die and go to heaven in our sleep? No prayer request, this is a first for me in a very long time:) I have a very special prayer request this morning, it is for peace among us here on earth....in reading posts yesterday, I saw where many were having issues with people they think of as "friends", we share our thoughts, hopes and feelings with our "friends" only to read them a little further up in posts and to be written totally not the way we shared them. A very long time ago I realized that there are very few people here on earth that really genuinely care about our feelings, our hopes, and our dreams.. It is said, you will know multitudes of people in your lives but if you have 5 true friends when you die, you are lucky! I think many of us misconstrue the meaning of FRIENDSHIP! I have very few that I think of as real "friends" and even less that I would entrust my secrets heart wishes with. I have our Father in Heaven that knows even the number of hairs on my head... my daughter who has been my constant for 25 years and my Wayde who has shown me over and over again that he is my "true Friend" I have several women who mean the world to me but I continue to be selective in sharing deepness with even them. I think we, each of us, need to become aware that there is a difference between acquaintance and "friend" and begin to determine what we share from our hearts with others! Many people delight in being in the "know" they delight in having the upper hand about your business and in sharing it with others, it seems to give them a sense of power to be able to share with others what you have told them in confidence! Be very careful, if you have to go outside your small circle of "true friends" select very carefully who and who you do not share with, for it comes back on you and will sometimes sever ties that you hold dear! God is my "go to guy" he is the one I share my hopes, dreams, desires, and wishes, he knows the true intent in my heart and never judges or shares and better yet never makes fun of me or twists my words to make them not as important! May this day you have the power from the Holy Spirit as to who will and who will not hurt your heart by stabbing you in the back. God bless you this day with peace in knowing that he is there for you, he is waiting for you and he is love, compassion, mercy and grace...he is the best at keeping secrets, he will never make you look bad in the eyes of others, he will always "have your back" no stabbing going on in his world! Turn to him today, cast all of your burdens upon him and watch him go to work in relieving your fears! He wills to be your BFF and will be the best you have ever had:)
