Let the pain you have endured be the strength you need to help another.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday...I pray this morning is going well for you and that the week is filled with positive energy and that you are allowing nothing negative to determine your moods or your actions! We are once again surrounded by the beautiful work of God, the sky is slowly beginning to be clouded with gray, there is no wind to speak of, it is 55 degrees, and off and on sprinkling rain with a promise of heavier rain this afternoon! The sun keeps trying to peak out from behind the clouds but has yet to find an opening to really shine through! Although I did not mention  the warmth of the sun, the song of the birds, the sway of the trees, the smell of the flowers..bla,bla,bla, I still feel so blessed to be a participant in this day and will continue to praise God for the gift! Sometimes the gifts wrapped in plain brown paper are better than the ones in all the bright paper with bells and bows! Each day is a special gift from our Father in heaven no matter the package it is still a wonderful, precious, gift!
In checking my prayer request this morning I had a message from a friend I met some 11 years ago, although we have not kept up with each other much of those years we remain friends and from time to time we will chat and catch up! This day I got the message that after 26 years of marriage her husband has left her for another woman! Her heart is broken, her spirit crushed and her heart flame down to a mere flicker, she called out to me knowing that I have been in the place she now resides and asked me if I could shed light on "what happens next" Many times when people come to me for prayer and uplift I go back to the time when the very thing was happening to me so that I can feel the pain they are feeling, I let the memories of my experience awake and I relive the feelings so that I can be more in tune with what their hearts. I did this and must say feel that the wind has been taken from my sails; in doing so though I feel I am ready to share with her how I overcame the obstacles and moved forward! I then sat in quiet meditation with God and asked him to fill my heart with the right words to say to her, his words, that will allow her to know he hears her, he feels her broken heart and is holding the pieces in his hands and putting them back together much as we put puzzles together! I asked him to hold her tight today as she is crying out for comfort and give her the healing that only he can give. I pray that if you are or have gone through this heart wrenching event that you will lift her in prayer, remembering what it took for you to begin your healing journey and ask God to give her what he gave you so that like a phoenix she might rise from the ashes renewed and filled with strength! I am sure in the coming days we will share many tears together but with each tear that falls I pray she will begin to see the value of her, the beauty inside her and the special, unique, person that she is, that she will begin to realize that she came in to this world not as a couple with him and that somewhere down the path she has lost her identity. I pray that she will remember and relearn that God gave her two feet in which to stand independently and that she must learn how to do this again! Father God I ask you to begin a special healing on her so that she knows the value of her person, that she feel your will pushing her forward to raise up her head and to see the beauty around her, to gently nudge her forward allowing her the knowledge that you will never let her fall. In the name of Jesus our savior I ask these mercies for her, amen.
Please know that we are here for you at all times, there is never a prayer request that we will not lift to Father God and we take each and every prayer request humbly and with honor in being allowed to share with you what is needed! I love each of you and pray that this day if someone comes in need of assistance that you will take time to give it, you never know when you God is assigning you to be the tutor to one of his students and in turning down the chance you are saying no to him! Let the goodness inside yourself be a blessing to someone in need of love and compassion! May this day be filled with awareness and awakening in each of us! Peace be with you!
