As many of you know we have been following the story of Heather Gower Robertson, we prayed for God's will to be done when she was overtaken with a horrible infection only days after she delivered her first baby Zachary...She was hospitalized and we prayed, we prayed, and we prayed...and God's will was done, he needed her in paradise to complete a job that only she could do...our hearts were broken, so many questions of WHY and HOW could this happen to such a wonderful human being? How could God allow this beautiful lady to be taken from her new son, her sweet husband, and her family and friends that loved her so much?...we prayed for understanding, we prayed for answers and we prayed that God would give us all the HOW to get through this and press forward.
A group of wonderful people have taken it upon themselves to have a benefit fundraiser in Heather's name for all proceeds to go to her son...
It is my plea today to touch your heart and ask that you make a donation in her name, that you will fast for one meal and donate what that meal would have cost you...I am asking that if you are in the area of Brazoria County, Texas that you will drop what you are doing on April 20th and plan to attend the benefit, your being there would mean so much to this family and your purchasing a ticket would be so appreciated...anything that you can do to be a part of this, PLEASE do...I always think at times like this, how much I would appreciate someone doing this to benefit my family, to make sure my child was taken care of, to make it a little easier on the ones who have been left to pick up the pieces and move on...

"Everyone please remember to buy your tickets for the Heather Robertson benefit!!! Raffle will be held on April 20th at San Jacinto Festival Cook-off! We have many raffle items offered, and due to the overwhelming generosity of other we will now be having a silent auction. Every dollar counts and is to benefit baby Zachary son of Heather and Brandon Robertson. We cannot began to THANK the people of the community, friends, and family who have donated and purchased tickets as the family I know is thankful as well!!!
