"Thank You, God, that Your love is shed abroad through human hearts and hands."

Good morning and a happy Tuesday to you,  it is already hot outside this morning, I guess boasting on our 65 degree weather over this passed weekend got me in the hot seat...LOL, our skies are a beautiful blue, there is a south wind blowing hot air around and still the birds sing, they are joyful for they know that life is more important than grumbling about the heat, they know that just to awake and sing this morning is such a blessing and they know they are doing exactly what God has called them to do....

This morning I sat in prayer asking God to take this exhaustion from me, to show me what I need to do to get my body back in line and to overcome this everyday feeling of being tired. I awake feeling rested and then I within the hour feel totally worn out...I know that he will make a way for me and will cover me with his robes of healing as he promises..."ask and ye shall receive" That being said I am going to not stress over it, I am going to do what I can and when the weariness overtakes me I will rest. After I had my morning chat with HIM I felt better and ready to conquer the day, I felt rejuvenated and full of energy and I knew that he was giving me a prelude to my day, I asked him to bless each of you in the areas where there is need, to hear your prayers and to make provision for you. I love HIM so much, I love the fact that I can pray a general prayer and he can attach the names as needed, I love the fact that I can pray, place it all in his hands and know that he will execute a way to make blessings happen, I love the fact that I have a forever friend, one that I do not have to worry about upsetting or hurting their feelings, one that will take me just as I am without condition, one that can see me through my maniac moments, one who will not make fun of me for being scared, on who will give me encouragement when I feel I am slipping, one who I know will catch me no matter how far I fall and will left me get my feet steady below me so that I can push off and start heading back up, one who will allow me to try new things without me fearing I will be made fun! It is nice to say I have a best friend who has only my best interest at heart and the nice thing is...we all can have this same friend, he never makes it impossible for anyone to come to him and to ask him for his hand. As I closed my prayers and continued to sit, basking in the sunrise, I gave thanks for all that HE does for me, for each of you who come and share in my thoughts and writings and for all who support me day in and day out. I am loved!!! I came into the house and opened my facebook to see what is going on in everyone's world and had a message from a sweet friend who I have not seen in over 30 years, it was a simple, " I was praying this morning and you came across my heart..." how wonderful is the media that it affords us opportunity to reach out when God places certain friends upon our hearts...her message came right in time and made me feel amazing and so very loved...IF you have someone cross your heart this morning, stop and take the time to let them know....they might just be in need of knowing that someone loves them and someone cares!!!! God is good and will never steer you down a dead end road:)

I read this little story this morning and wanted to share....remember kindness and compassion are free to give....why not give a bit of yourself today?

Kindness

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal, he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry and so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness." He said, "Then I thank you from my heart." As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strengthened also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later, that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, he went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown, he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day, he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested from the business office to pass the final billing to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words:

"PAID IN FULL WITH ONE GLASS OF MILK....

(Signed)
Dr. Howard Kelly."

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love is shed abroad through human hearts and hands."
