Prayer warriors, I come to you now in plea that you will join me in praying for those in the path of Hurricane Irene, so many could be injured, so much damage could be done. In watching the weather channel I see so many refusing to evacuate, father impress upon them the danger they are placing themselves in, impress upon their hearts the need to take cover and to find a safer place to ride it out. Father this storm is massive, allow smart choices to override stubborn pride! Father of all creation, Lord of the Universe, you have the power to control the winds and waves and to still the storms according to you will. we pray that you will use hurricane irene according to your good pleasure, drawing people to yourself, reminding others of judgment to come. We ask that you give safety to those within the reaches of the storm, that they might thank and bless you. In Jesus mighty name, amen!
