I pray this will help in the battle of FORGIVENESS!!!

Good evening, I pray your Monday was a good one, It has been a a beautiful day here, gotta love the fall weather and the beautiful colors that seem to be bursting with orange, red and yellow! It is DWTS Monday and I must say what I have seen thus far has not been to impressive,,,,I have yet to see my JR dance tonight so am eager for that!
Tonight, I would like to talk again about FORGIVENESS,  it would seem that I am not the only one who struggles with it! Like I said earlier, when I find myself holding anger and angst in my heart I think of Christ on that cross and yes I become ashamed, ashamed that I am holding something in my heart that he died for, he forgives me each time I ask him, he and our Father in Heaven know my every thought and they forgive me, who am I to hold on to it? We need to LET IT GO. Ask God for his strength, ask him to come to your aid and to take it out of your heart and dissolve it! It takes a much bigger person to forgive than it does to hold on! Below I am inserting a wonderful message on dealing with forgiveness, I pray it will give you hope if you cannot seem to get rid of the negative!  I ask that you join me in prayer this night for forgiveness to be planted like a seed in the garden and that knowledge of watering and nurturing is given you so that it becomes a fruitful part of your heart! Please pray with me for those suffering illness, depression, rehabilitation, darkness, negativity, addiction, for the unborn babies, for those who are struggling financially and for all of those who will receive word this week of things not pleasing to them. God is good all the time, allow him into your heart and live as he is willing you to live! God bless you with love in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Forgiveness

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. - Matthew 6:12, 14-15

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. - Mark 11:25

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. - Matthew 18:21-22

Jesus [on the cross] said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." - Luke 23:34

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. - Colossians 3:12-13

A Proper Response When You Are Wronged

Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you. - Proverbs 20:22

Do not say, "I'll do to him as he has done to me; I'll pay that man back for what he did." - Proverbs 24:29

"`Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD." - Leviticus 19:18

"It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them." - Deuteronomy 32:35

But Joseph said to them, "Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. - Genesis 50:19-20

""But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." - Luke 6:27-31, 35-36

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. - Romans12:9-21

Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. - 1 Peter 3:8-9

- Romans 12:14-18

We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. - 1 Corinthians 4:12-13

Jesus Christ

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him [Christ] the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. - Isaiah 53:6-7

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth." When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. - 1 Peter 2:21-23

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:8-9
