On bended knees praying, will you join me?

 Good Sunday evening my friends, I pray that this day has been a full one for you, that your spiritual gas tanks are topped off and you are ready to go head held high, shoulders square and jaw firmly set into the new week! I pray that this day has given you time for yourself, time for God and time for reflections on the blessings in your life!
      I have a very good friend who has come with prayer request tonight, not only for him but for his church family as well. it seems the pastor there has passed away leaving his congregation in a very sad state! Please life them in prayer for understanding and for compassion. Father if you will lay your hands upon them as a whole and allow them comfort, calm and peace! I ask that you join me in my usual nighttime prayers for all who are suffering illness, suffering depression, addiction, rehabilitation of all sorts, for those mommies with unborn babies growing in their bodies that they and their babies will be healthy and strong, always for our soldiers both on foreign and home soil and for our country, for those who are lost and feeling so alone and for all of those who will this week run into situations that are as big boulders in the middle of the road, allow each of your children to feel your presence in their lives and know that with you all things are possible and that as long as they walk hand in heart with you there is no problem to big! I ask these mercies and blessings in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

   God made the world with a heart full of love,
Then he looked down from the heaven above,
And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who will understand,
He made special people to see us through
The glad times and the sad times, Too;
A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend. -- Unknown
