may all of YOUR prayers be answered!!

Good morning and happy Monday, love this day and use it wisely for it will never pass your way again. That is how I look at things, I am going to get the best I can out of every day because at the stroke of midnight it will be gone to me forever!

In prayer this morning as I sat bundled up against the cold but not wanting to come inside for fear of missing out on the beauty of the sunrise, the sun coming over the top of the mountain and hearing the sound of the world waking up. I bundled and let my thoughts drift to heaven, I found myself chatting with Heavenly Father and soon realized that I was in tears. Some days I am so overcome with having a personal relationship with the Almighty! It is so awesome to know that I can go to him with all of my thoughts all of my actions and he is understanding and does not judge me. It humbles me to know that I  can mess up, really mess up and God forgives me,  if I ask with true intent and if I make point to never make that mistake again, I know he will forgive me. God you awe me, and I thank you for the blessings in my life. I asked God to bless each of you with his never ending love, with his abundant understanding and with angels to touch your hearts today and relieve any stress and drama you might have. I asked him to bless each of us with happiness in our hearts and with love in all that we do. I asked him to bless the sick and suffering and to remember my sweet friend with pneumonia. I asked him to lead and shield us from any harm that may be lurking around us. I ask these mercies and these blessing in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Matt 7:7-8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

May all your Prayers be answered.
(May 27, 2003):

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island.

The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no other recourse but to pray to God.

However, to determine whose prayers should be most effective, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.

The first thing they prayed for was food.

The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, there was nothing.

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island and boarded the ship with his wife.

Since none of the other man’s prayers had been answered, he considered him unworthy to receive God's blessings, so he decided to leave the second man on the island.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"

"My blessings are a result of my faith and prayers, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered and so I figured he does not deserve anything."

"You are sorely mistaken, and are in great debt to him.”

“How’s that?” the first man asked.

”It was his great faith that invoked the blessings, and he prayed that all your prayers might be answered."

Are our blessings the fruits of our prayers and work alone, or of those of another praying for us? What (and who) are you praying for?

With obedience come blessings. May all your righteous prayers be answered.

Father we come to you humbly this morning and ask special blessings for this beautiful lady, we ask that you touch her body with your healing hands and if it be your will that you allow the tests to come back negative for any cancers. This daughter of yours has suffered much heartache and pain in the last year and still holds fast to her faith, she holds strong to you Father for she knows in her heart that all things happen for a reason. Father keep her tucked closely in to your chest allowing her to draw from your strength and use it in times of weakness. In Jesus' beautiful name I ask mercy and blessings upon her. Amen.
