Good morning and happy day Ya'll. See you can take the girl out of the south but you can't take the south out of the girl. I have been up for a while and have so enjoyed my morning, this morning I had the privilege of chatting with two very dear men in my life, one in Texas and the other in Utah, it was such a pleasure to sit and chat back and forth via the internet! Our morning has been a delightful one, the breeze had a bit of coolness and the sunrise was amazing, I sit with eager anticipation each morning to see the beauty that God will allow us this day! I sit with heartfelt thanks that I am allowed another day to see this beauty and to give my life to doing what is needed from me! I am so thankful that God places me where he has need for me and that I always come out of the situation feeling as if I have learned and been given more that I have given, it that makes sense!!!
In prayer this morning I thanked God for answered prayers, so many times we pray for outcomes that do not come out the way we ask, but still the prayer is answered! I am so thankful that God is in control, that he knows what is best and that he answers with the best solution and the best way. I am sure that many family members are feeling a bit different this day as they face the grief and the sadness they are facing at losing those so dear to them. God has a plan for each of us and I am so thankful that he does, I pray today that each of you suffering loss will open your hearts and allow God to comfort you, that you will outstretch your arms and allow him to hold you close to him, that you will feel the very beat of his heart and use his strength to get you through this stom of life and bring you back to standing on your own two feet marching forward. I pray that you will soak in the knowledge that this is not a forever goodbye just an "until we meet again" that you know in your heart and soul that one day when it is your time to pass that your loved ones will be eager to greet you and show you the way. Father allow the spirit of the passer be with those today who are in doubt, allow them to feel the presence of their loved one and know that they are gone only in body and never in heart. Father be with us today who are in need of relief from pain and fill us with faith that this to shall pass. I ask for mercy to be with those who are on the wrong side of the tracks that you touch their hearts today with an urgency to seek you and to make changes in their lives, I ask that you provide us each with an overwhelming touch of your love for us and that you continue to take our hands and lead us down the righteous path. I ask for you to continue to watch of my daughter, Derek and my grandson Chalmers as they go through their day to day lives, keep them safe from harm and allow them to grow in you. Father I ask these mercies, favors and blessings in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Happy Friday to all, it is a beautiful morning here in Utah, I am sitting by my living room window watching the world awaken and loving what I see at the hand of God. I invite you to come and share in prayer with us this morning, there are so many heavy hearts today in need of prayer, so many "why's" so much grief, please come and join me, standing on the promise that our prayers for peace will be answered. I also came across a really good read this morning and wanted to share...i love this..." I don't need to know "why" just help me to learn "how" I can live with it. WOW what a powerful request of God...I love, love, love it! I am looking for the "how's" from this point on forget the "why's"!!!! I pray for you a day of calm and comfort and I ask God to see each of you through whatever storms are brewing in your life. I love you<3<3<3
Moving Beyond The Why?
How can three letters evoke so much anger and worry?
"Why did this have to happen?"
"Why did I lose my job?"
"Why did he die?"
"Why?" "Why?" "Why"
The more I look at that word the less I understand it.
It's a good word. It is solid yet flexible, demanding but gentle, firm and soft all in one.
It's a word I am sure God hears all the time. "Why, God?"
It can give you all you need to succeed. If you ask it enough times you will gain enough answers to move ahead, move on, move up or move out.
Why?
Take away the question mark and it still demands an answer...why.
When I was a child my parents would always reply, "Because I said so." It meant they really didn't have a why. It was just the way it was.
I looked up "why" in the dictionary and found a definition made up of other questions:
Adverb: 1. for what? for what reason, cause or purpose?
It's also a noun and an interjection.
I don't know why. It just is.
Still such a simple word can keep us up at night as we toss and turn wondering "why?"
I do believe it comes before the question "How?"
I want to know why something happened and then how.
I want to know why God is so good to me. I already know how.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
A man made a small fortune asking that question.
I do know why such a small word has such an big impact on our lives.
Our faith.
God holds all the answers.
We ask "why?" of God and He doesn't just say "Because I said so."
Although on His authority, His Word, He could easily say that.
Instead He shows you. He leads you. He takes "Why" and turns it into "how."
It is human nature to want to know "why."
In the end we really just want to know how to move beyond the "why." In many cases we are never fully satisfied with the answers. We want to know what to do about it, how to respond, how to learn from it so that we are not crippled by the event.
You can spend a lifetime asking the question and waste a lifetime waiting for an answer.
When I don't understand something I have stopped asking why of God. I get right to it, right through it by saying "I don't need to know "why" just help me to learn "how" I can live with it."
In our pain and sorrow-filled days people often offer us what they believe to be comforting words..."It was God's Will." "It is beyond our understanding." "No one knows the mind of God."
As true as that may be, we find little comfort in it. Our pain is real, it's happening now and we demand an answer.
When the tears dry up and the pain fades to an acceptable level we then begin to reconnect with our Creator. He was there all along. We let go.
Suddenly the light breaks through the darkness. Comfort and warmth embraces us. It is then we hear His voice more clearly.
We move beyond the "Why?" in the peace of His love.
"I wish you enough!"

What a beautiful message this morning! It is confirmation of what is and will be for all of us who are Christians! Your softly spoken words whisper in my ear and all the way to the depths of my soul! Yesterday, I spoke with a friend whom I have not seen in years, I told her to think on those things that are pure, holy and last for eternity ~ God, family, mission and friends! God knows us before we are conceived, and He has a divine plan and purpose for each of us! She is struggling and grieving after the unexpected death of her husband. I emphasized to her the importance of God in our life cycle and how we come into this world ~ innocent, pure and loved by His hand-chosen parents. All of the material things which are acquired will vanish and are not eternal, but we have the confidence that when our name is called by Father God, within a nano-second in time we are standing in His glorious presence. If we are Christians and love the Lord Jesus Christ, God sends His angels to lovingly unzip our earthly body suits so that our spirits can freely soar to Him ~ the source of all love, joy, peace, happiness, contentment and strength. I can only imagine what a beautiful homecoming that will be when we see Jesus face to face along with all of our loved ones who go before. But, whether I stay or go, I shall be content whatever my circumstance! Please continue to lift up my #1 Golden Girl as she prepares for transition to her final destination. She is calm, peaceful, safe and loved as we wait for God to dispatch His angels to triumphantly carry her home for all of eternity! There will be singing, dancing and praising the Almighty God who is The Great I Am. . .full of majesty, power, mercy and grace! I am bold! I am brave! I am courageous! I am fearless! I am more than a conqueror! I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I am a hand-chosen citizen of heaven! Hallelujah! Sending much love and hugs from deep in the heart of Texas!
