May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gift that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
Let his presence settle into you bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun.
It is here for each and every one of you!

Good morning and Happy Sunday, today is the day I love most! I pray that today you will feel the spirit of our Father in heaven, that you will feel the love of Christ and that you will feel the promptings of the Holy Spirit! He is working in all of us, he is urging us to share his word, to be examples of him in the last of days, he is willing us to "get it right" he is calling so many home to make a place for us! Today will  you honor him by sharing his love with someone in need, will you exalt him by sharing his name with someone who is lost and is searching for truth, will you love him and repent of those things that are not pleasing to  him and begin your journey down the path that will lead you home? If you have not "called home" in a while, make the call today, I am sure he will be so very happy to hear from you! Live this day as if there will be no tomorrows! I love you all and pray that this day will be filled with joy, love and an abundance of laughter:)

Today has come and gone, I am so looking forward to tomorrow, my day of solitude with our father in heaven!

Please join me tonight in lifting prayers for those in need, so many have come to me today asking for special prayers will you join me in lifting these wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ? Add any prayers you have to the comment section so that we can pray for you and yours! God bless each of you with an abundance of love, peace, calm and comfort!

Until we meet again:)

Good morning and happy Saturday, it looks as if it will rain today, there is humidity in the air and our sky, although blue, is dense and beginning to fill with clouds! I pray those of my friends so desperate for rain will be allowed to sit and smell the wonderful smell it produces, will enjoy the rhythm on their roof tops and get out and dance a happy dance as it cleanses them and nourishes their dry and wilted lands!
Today is the day we will say a farewell to my little friend, Peggy Baker who went home to live with our Father in Heaven, although a sad day for me it is also a joyous day, she is no longer in pain and is singing with the heavenly quartet! I know that her spirit will be so strong in the memorial service as she touched so many of us with just her laugh, her jokes, her playful banter and her will to live! I pray that each of you will take time today to honor those you love, will take the time to give hugs and speak the words that seem to get lost in the shuffle, I LOVE YOU, it is a simple phrase yet it is one of the most powerful gifts that we have been blessed with. Life is short, we never know if we will have another day to spend together so we must confirm to those who are special to us, who make our lives a better, who stand by us when we are lost, who lift us up when we are weak. We must tell them often how much we love them and how thankful we are to be a part of their world. I love each of you so much, I thank you for the support you give me by joining me in prayer each day, by giving me the honor of lifting you and yours in prayer when you are in need and for giving me inspiration to keep on keepin on in God's footsteps. Bless each of you with your hearts desires today, may you feel his love in all that you do, may you follow his direction and serve him by spreading his message to those in your life. God is amazing, he tends us even when we do not know we need tended! Have a beautiful Saturday! I LOVE YOU:)

The comment section is waiting for prayers and prayer requests from you!

Hello to all, as another day comes quickly to a close I come to you offering my heart in prayer. All prayer requests welcome, all prayers received! Please use the comment below to add what you want. Love in Christ, have a beautiful Friday night and know that you are always in our prayers! God is love!!!!

If your happy and you know it, clap your hands....

Hello and happy Friday, looks like we will have another beautiful day here in Utah, blue skies as far as the eye can see, a slight breeze and starting out at 67 degrees this morning, the sun soon will top the mountain and I am up and out early enough this morning to hear the bugle playing the morning call on the base just across the interstate! Life is good, I am happy and I pray that you are too!
This morning as I sat in prayer, my head leaned back, only hearing the faint sounds of the interstate and the birds singing their morning praises, I began to pray for the happiness of others, I prayed that God would take each of your problems upon his shoulders today and allow each of you to feel "happiness" I read so many writings from people each day that do not include "happiness" I see the droll look on faces everywhere I go and wonder, why there is no "happiness" I talk to people on the phone each day and I don't hear "happiness" WHAT IS HAPPINESS? The dictionary defines happiness as: the state of well-being and contentment. That is it!!! If it is that easy....then why is there not more of it around me? I ask you today, what makes you happy, where in your life is happiness and what brings it out in you? When I begin to pray and I ask for special mercies for you I never know until that very moment what the prayer will consist of, when it comes flowing from me, I know this is what I am supposed to write about for the day..I have lived in nice homes, I have driven nice cars, I have been with the ability to shop when I wanted and to buy within reason what I desired... I have been married and had my child, was blessed to raise my child and see her transform from a wonderful child to an awesome woman, I have had animals that were like my children, some have gone to heaven, one is older now and will make the journey soon, and still have some that will be with me for years yet! I have always had a hot meal on my plate if I desired, have gotten to see places I wanted to see...etc! There are people who have nicer homes, nicer cars, more money to pay more for their likes, who have children and grandchildren, who have never missed a meal or worried about paying their bills and yet....I have happiness and they seem not to!!! CONFUSED!!! I was trying to figure out why there were so many who always seem to be sad, that always talk about the bad and rarely the good, I have neighbors yes right next door, who walk around as if they are attending the funeral of a loved one, for the last year they have walked around that way, the only time we have ever spoken was when their teenage daughter was misbehaving in the yard and the embarrassment was so strong they walked over to apologize! I go to wal-mart, and see the wal-mart zombies, they walk around as if following a well worn track, no emotion upon their faces and act as if they are walking to the gallows! How many times I have given a happy smile and a hearty hello and never once have they broken focus on their destination to respond! I don't know what makes so many so UNHAPPY, but I do know that I will not let the "fever" catch me, I am happy each morning that I open my eyes and get another chance at praising my Heavenly Father, I am happy each morning that I get to have a hot cup of coffee and sit out and enjoy the picture that God has painted for me, I am happy to have a roof over my head and food for nourishment, I am happy to be able to have friends that love and worship Christ and look to heaven as the goal in life. I am happy that my daughter is happy, yes she lives far away and I only see her a few times per year, but she is alive and she is happy...I could not ask for more! I am happy to have freedom, to know that I can speak Heavenly Fathers name out loud, that I can love Jesus Christ and confess it without fear, that the Holy Ghost loves me enough to prompt me in the right direction, to touch my heart when I am getting off track...I am happy for the simplest and smallest of things in my life! A phone call, a sweet card, a hug...Today I pray that you will find little things that make you happy and praise HIM for them, you know if you make the "batter" out of the little things, everything else is just the "frosting". Without the "cake" you don't need the "sweet frosting" so today I challenge you to get back to the basics...look around you and see what ingredients are going to make up your "batter" don't even worry about the "frosting" I love each of you and pray for you daily, if you have specific special prayer requests, if you would like to pray for someone's prayer that is posted I would love to have you join me as a prayer warrior! God loves it when we love others, lets honor HIM today! Blessings be in abundance for you and yours:) I love you all! :) Have a wonderful Friday:)

Psalm 68:3
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

James 5:13
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.

Proverbs 15:13
A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you.
Ecclesiastes 3:12
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.

Prayers for the children!!

As another day comes to an end and the weekend rapidly approaches, I can't believe how fast this week has flown by! It was a great day this day, got a lot of things accomplished and am moving in the right direction! God is the best leader there is, and the great thing is there is never any doubt as long as I hold fast to him and follow with faith!
Tonight I come to you with a prayer request that is the nearest and dearest to my heart. I come to you asking if you would get "on bended knees" with me and pray for all of the children, there are so many babies being born, just on my facebook alone it seems there are babies born weekly, these precious angels have been entrusted into the arms of their earthly parents, they have received their physical bodies and are so ready to learn, to be taught, to progress, so that they will return one day to their home in heaven having come down and deemed themselves worthy of reentering the gates of heaven. Parents you have a mighty job, indeed you do, I pray that you will guide your children in the footsteps of God, that you will allow God to be the head of your home and in all that you do, that you allow your children to know unconditional love and that you take time each and every day to hug them and make them feel their worth. I ask you to pray for the toddlers, as they are so inquisitive, as they toddle, hands on everything,  everything going to their mouths. I pray that parents will have patience when the toddler seems to be into everything and so energy filled, have patience with them, love them, teach them the difference between right and wrong and show them unconditional love..asking prayers for the teenagers as they are awkward, trying to find themselves, trying to fit in, trying to step into grown up shoes but still wanting to cling to mom and dad out of fear! Parents, give them encouragement, help them to set goals, show them unconditional love, and most of all teach them respect by giving them respect. Parents... from the time we deliver our children and they clasp our hearts, we are forever changed, there is no book on rearing children and each child is different, we have to love them for who they are, not for what we want them to be, they will test us time and time again, they will push the limits as far as they are allowed, they will manipulate, they will lie, they will cheat, they will be terrors! They will break our hearts over and over again only to come forth, give us love and melt our hearts again! We break our father in heavens heart many times in our lives here on earth and as long as we ask him forgiveness and learn from our mistakes, he forgives us with his unconditional love! Remember we were young once...we did many things that our children are doing today, I look at this as a blessing because I have been there, experienced much and can sit and share with my child the lessons I have learned. God bless you all this night, hug those kiddos and is the key and the answer!
God bless each of you with a peace filled night!
Funny, I have not been writing evening messages, this must have been something God needed me to post tonight...I was just sitting here writing away and realized that I have only been doing the call to prayer! God has a way of getting us to represent when he needs it most! Praise his holy name, again and again. Amen and Amen:)

It will never pass this way again!!!!

Good morning my friends, after having the perfect day yesterday we are forecast for higher temps today, I think we are due to hit the 90's, I know it has been much hotter for many days in succession for many of you  and I am not complaining, just stating that we too, will experience higher today! It is now 72 degrees, sunny, a little breezy, and the birds are singing happily!
This morning in prayer, as I sat meditating I felt the I would find my message on facebook, it was a bit odd for this to happen as God always shifts my thoughts to what I should speak about to touch a heart in need! The only thing that crossed my heart was to find that need from facebook... soooo after asking healing, love, compassion, grace, mercy and blessings, I closed my prayer and moved over to facebook...there it was staring right at me....the first 3 posts were referring to what a horrible day it was, that the day was going to be a bad one for sure and that they should never have gotten out of bed as the day had started out badly and was only getting worse!!! I felt that I had logged on to negative nellie-ville and was being given a tour by negative-nellie! The way I see things, I can either have a bad day...or a good I don't have to like the things that are happening around me, but it is my choice as to how I allow them to affect me...will I be down in the mouth and negative or will I look up to heaven, thank God for being able to breath the air, have my heart beat, and be allowed to worship him and live with my loves!!!!  When we allow the yuckys of the day to take us over we allow satan to get closer....lets stand together, find a rainbow in the storm and concentrate on that..not the storm, it really is fun to dance in the rain!!! Don't let the strorms of the day soak your mood, look around, for every one thing going wrong there are a million things going right:) Love this day as if it were going to be your last, for it will never pass this way again! If I die before the morn, I don't want my last memory of earth to be filled with woe is me thoughts, I want it to be of grins, giggles and immense happiness:)
Love in Christ to all, and know that at the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold, start looking for yours will ya?
Today I am standing in amazement at several examples of Christ here on earth that I look to for inspiration and guidance,  I have never met these three ladies but know that when I do, I will greet them with a great big "d" hug, a tear or thirty in my eyes and a big ole" God bless you for being the wonderful Christian sisters that they are thank you Sena, Mary, and Suzanne for being lights in my life!

Evening call to prayer!

It is time once again for prayer, I am asking if you will come and pray with us? Please feel free to scroll down and click on all of the evening calls to prayer, or any that you feel prompted to! So many are in need, the prayer warriors come many times per day and pray, pray, pray!
May each of you be blessed this evening with a calm heart and a beautiful peaceful sleep:) Love in Christ!

Do you have examples of Christ in your life????

Good morning my friends! It is a lovely day in the neighborhood, 73 degree and a nice breeze. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and my heart is happy! God is so amazing, as I said goodbye to my sweet friend yesterday...I felt such a peace in my spirit, as her body lay there in wait of being picked up by the University hospital where she donated her body to science, I sat and spoke with her, knowing that she was no longer there in spirit, that she had taken the hand of the angels and already made her way home, I continued to sit and chatted with her! She loved the LA Lakers, she loved to sing with the Sweet Adelines, she loved to crack jokes and basically was always happy and filled with laughter! I teased her about not having made it to cut her hair as I had planned to do, and I teased her about removing all of the Laker memorabilia and replacing it with Jazz things! I knew that she was safe in the loving arms of God as I talked with her and it made my heart so very calm, I did not cry as all I could think was "she made it" she passed the test and has received her greatest blessing" she is in the arms of the angels now!
We live here on this earth to achieve the ultimate blessing, being able to live forever in heaven! I live my life each day mindful of the way that God wills me to live so that I can make that journey when it is my time! I worship our Father in Heaven, his son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit and look to them for guidance in all things! I know that I will make mistakes, I make them daily, but I also know that "mistaking" is learning, we must make bad choices to learn good ones, we must lay our hand upon the hot burner in order to learn not to do it again. Example is the best teacher there is, if we are led by example, make our mistakes, repent and know that God loves us...our heavenly home will be there for us! I have so many good examples of Christ in my life and I thank each and every one of them this morning. I pray for their strength and perseverance each day that they will continue to be earthly guides for each of us....this morning I thank specifically three men that honestly are Christian heros to me! Johnny, Gerald, and Alan...May God continue to bless you for the great work you are doing for him here, may he continue to fill your hearts with the words to say when you see need! May he continue to touch you and your family with love, joy and happiness and most of all may many lives be affected by you, may they find Christ with guidance from you and may his strength, love, compassion, mercy and grace remain in your daily make up! Love to the three of you in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ..amen and amen again!
I pray that each of you has a living example that you can turn to, I pray that when God places a special spirit in your life that you will allow them in and allow them to minister to you the words that our Father in Heaven so needs you to hear! God is amazing and will never let you down:) Have a beautiful day my beautiful friends, know that love is the way, so if you would... share yours today:)

Tuesday evening call to prayer!

It is time once again for our evening call to prayer. Please join me if you will in lifting prayer for those in need. So many are in desperate times and I know with Gods love and our faith we can make a difference. Love in Christ to each of you in Jesus name amen and amen again.

I wish for you a "sandpiper"

The Sand Piper

She was six years old when I first met her on the beach near where I live. I drive to this beach, a distance of three or four miles, whenever the world begins to close in on me.  She was building a sand castle or something and looked up, her eyes as blue as the sea.
"Hello," she said.
I answered with a nod, not really in the mood to bother with a small child.
"I'm building," she said.
“I see that. What is it?" I asked, not really caring.
"Oh, I don't know, I just like the feel of sand."
That sounds good, I thought, and slipped off my shoes.
A sandpiper glided by.
"That's a joy," the child said.
"It's a what?"
"It's a joy. My mama says sandpipers come to bring us joy."
The bird went gliding down the beach. Good-bye joy, I muttered to myself, hello pain, and turned to walk on. I was depressed; my life seemed completely out of balance.
"What's your name?" She wouldn't give up.
"Robert," I answered. "I'm Robert Peterson."
"Mine's Wendy... I'm six."
"Hi, Wendy." She giggled. "You're funny," she said.
In spite of my gloom, I laughed too and walked on. Her musical giggle followed me.
"Come again, Mr. P," she called. "We'll have another happy day."
The next few days consisted of a group of unruly Boy Scouts, PTA meetings, and an ailing mother. The sun was shining one morning as I took my hands out of the dishwater.  I need a sandpiper, I said to myself, gathering up my coat.
The ever-changing balm of the seashore awaited me. The breeze was chilly but I strode along, trying to recapture the serenity I needed.
"Hello, Mr. P," she said. "Do you want to play?"
"What did you have in mind?" I asked, with a twinge of annoyance.
"I don't know. You say."
“How about charades?" I asked sarcastically.
The tinkling laughter burst forth again. "I don't know what that is."
“Then let's just walk."
Looking at her, I noticed the delicate fairness of her face.
"Where do you live?" I asked.
"Over there." She pointed toward a row of summer cottages.
Strange, I thought, in winter.
"Where do you go to school?"
"I don't go to school. Mommy says we're on vacation."
She chattered little girl talk as we strolled up the beach, but my mind was on other things.  When I left for home, Wendy said it had been a happy day. Feeling surprisingly better, I smiled at her and agreed.
Three weeks later, I rushed to my beach in a state of near panic. I was in no mood to even greet Wendy. I thought I saw her mother on the porch and felt like demanding she keep her child at home.
"Look, if you don't mind," I said crossly when Wendy caught up with me, "I'd rather be alone today." She seemed unusually pale and out of breath.
"Why?" she asked.
I turned to her and shouted, "Because my mother died!" and thought, why was I saying this to a little child?
"Oh," she said quietly, "then this is a bad day."
"Yes," I said, "and yesterday and the day before and  oh, go away!"
"Did it hurt?" she inquired.
"Did what hurt?" I was exasperated with her, with myself.
"When she died?"
"Of course it hurt!" I snapped, misunderstanding, wrapped up in myself.  I strode off.
A month or so after that, when I next went to the beach, she wasn't there. Feeling guilty, ashamed, and admitting to myself I missed her, I went up to the cottage after my walk and knocked at the door. A drawn looking young woman with honey-colored hair opened the door.
"Hello," I said, "I'm Robert Peterson.  I missed your little girl today and wondered where she was."
"Oh yes, Mr. Peterson, please come in. Wendy spoke of you so much. I'm afraid I allowed her to bother you. If she was a nuisance, please, accept my apologies."
"Not at all  she's a delightful child."  I said, suddenly realizing that I meant what I had just said.
"Wendy died last week, Mr. Peterson.  She had leukemia. Maybe she didn't tell you."
Struck dumb, I groped for a chair. I had to catch my breath.
"She loved this beach, so when she asked to come, we couldn't say no. She seemed so much better here and had a lot of what she called happy days. But the last few weeks, she declined rapidly..." Her voice faltered, "She left something for you, if only I can find it.  Could you wait a moment while I look?"
I nodded stupidly, my mind racing for something to say to this lovely young woman. She handed me a smeared envelope with "MR. P" printed in bold childish letters. Inside was a drawing in bright crayon hues  a yellow beach, a blue sea, and a brown bird.  Underneath was carefully printed:
A SANDPIPER TO BRING YOU JOY.
Tears welled up in my eyes, and a heart that had almost forgotten to love opened wide.  I took Wendy's mother in my arms. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry," I uttered over and over, and we wept together. The precious little picture is framed now and hangs in my study. Six words  one for each year of her life  that speak to me of harmony, courage, and undemanding love. A gift from a child with sea blue eyes and hair the color of sand  who taught me the gift of love.
NOTE: This is a true story sent out by Robert Peterson.  It happened over 20 years ago and the incident changed his life forever. It serves as a reminder to all of us that we need to take time to enjoy living and life and each other. The price of hating other human beings is loving oneself less. Life is so complicated, the hustle and bustle of everyday traumas can make us lose focus about what is truly important or what is only a momentary setback or crisis. This week, be sure to give your loved ones an extra hug, and by all means, take a moment... even if it is only ten seconds, to stop and smell the roses.

Evening call to prayer! Join us if you will, so many are in need, lets share the love of God with them!

good evening friends, once again I come to you in request for you to join me in prayer, so many are in need, I am in need, we all need the love of Christ and our Heavenly Father to bless us! Join me if you will...mass prayer produces miracles!!!!
If you have special prayer request we stand ready for you, what an honor it is to be blessed with your requests! Love in Christ, amen and amen again!

Question of the morning! "Is God really real?"

Good morning, and happy Monday! We are overcast this morning with a bit of a wind picking up, 76 degrees and expect to have some rain showers throughout the afternoon! I see that my friends in Texas got a hint of rain yesterday, prayers are answered, will continue to pray for more so that your grounds can get really good and soaked!
I slept in this morning....something I rarely do.....for me to sleep later than 7 a.m. is amazing, I guess my body was in need so praise the Lord!!!! In prayer as I sat out in the gusty wind I realized how much I miss when I sleep late, the sunrise has come and gone...the bugle call at the near by air force base has already taken place, the birds have made their way to where they will be holding fort so I missed the morning ritual they do before the move! Funny how just a little change in our routine can throw us off balance!
I was in prayer this morning and again the thought that came to mind was for those in need of finding Christ, for those who continue to turn from him, for those who continually turn their backs and deny him. I know he wills for each of us to share his love, to be examples of Christ and to never deny who he is and what he has done for us, I know we are getting close to the last of days and so many are still sitting on the fence wondering if he is real, if he is there, if he is our salvation! Many people ask me..."how do you know, really know, that he is real? "I can only say to you, that I know he IS from the events that have happened in my life, I know he IS by being witness to the blessings he has give me and each of you! I know he IS real... when I pray, when I chat, when I need him, he is always there. I have had hard knocks, I have suffered loss of possessions, I have lost loved ones, I have struggled, I continue to struggle, but it is not because he is not real, it is because these hardships are learning tools in life, if everything was peaches and cream how would we learn lessons and how could we strengthen our faith?
I know in my heart that he is needing my words to touch the heart of someone who has either turned away from him altogether or is really struggling with their faith! Very rarely does he touch my heart with the same type of message two days running! I will continue to pray that whomever is in need will read this and will if nothing more ask me about my faith, ask me about the troubles I have seen and how I have overcome, it was only by his love, his hand and his sacrifice. I have a daughter that I love most in the entire world, she is my everything, she is my heartbeat! I cannot imagine her not being in my life..not even for a day! I cannot imagine having to make a choice to either save her or save multitudes of people. I would never have been able to sacrifice her so that all could have everlasting life. I would never have been able to place her on a cross and watch her perish so that the very people that had hurt her could live! He gave his only begotten son for us...for every one of us and I feel that they worst thing we could do would be to deny him, to follow satan, to not appreciate the sacrifice is such a slap in the face to our Father in Heaven. I cannot imagine not having unconditional love, knowing that no matter how bad my life gets I have someone in my corner is such a comfort to me, I cannot imagine how life would be without prayer, without knowing that I can, through, the savior speak to God any time I wish! I am posting the "salvation prayer" again this morning, if you have questions or comments please feel free to comment here, if you would rather remain anonymous there is that option for you! I love you all and pray that today might be the first day for someone in need! God bless you, won't you take his hand and allow him to touch your heart as he has touched so many others?

God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
The problem is that . . .

2All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”
The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”
Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."
God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4If you want to accept Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

Don't wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Pray this with us:
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Prayer of Salvation - I've Prayed It; Now What?
If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus by Alan Jackson

It is never to late!!!!

Oh Sunday, how I love Sunday:) Yes we are having yet another beautiful morning, not a cloud in the sky only blue, blue, blue as far as I can see, the sun has just come up over the mountain and the temp is a cool 67 degrees with just a bit of a breeze:) Thank you Father for giving us such a beautiful place to live. The mountains in the distance seem so regal sitting with still a bit of snow on the peaks. Your creations are amazing and I am so thankful for being allowed the freedoms to sit and enjoy as I converse with you! With a humble heart and love beyond words I thank you, in Jesus' beautiful name, amen!
This morning as I have been sitting here I was brought to tears thinking of those who are lost at this very moment, those who deny Christ and our Father in Heaven, those who do not believe! I sat wondering how I would feel if I did not have someone to go to with every one of my problems, someone to cling to when I feel scared, someone to share my thoughts, to fall on when I am to tired to stand.  I felt such a sadness come into my heart and I cried for those who are lost and feel they have no one to turn to! I cried for their souls, for their spirits and for the pain God must feel in losing such sweet children. I cried for the ones who have chosen satan's side. My heart was heavy with sadness in knowing that in a flash of their eyes they could accept God into their hearts, they could ask him to come in and they could begin living and walking in truth and love this very moment. Today if you feel you need renewal, know that he is standing in wait for you! He will forgive even the worst of sins if only you ask with honesty in your hearts. I love so deeply, I care so completely and I pray that today someone will cross your path who will be an example of what our Savior and our Father are! We all, each and every one of us fall short, we make mistakes, we sin...but we know that with true intent in our hearts, with prayer, and with humility we can be forgiven. Life is all about "getting it right" and the best way to do this is "practice" I "practice" his teaching daily, I pray often for forgiveness and I walk with the knowledge that as long as I am trying to be the best I can be, he will continue blessing me! May this day you feel his love, may you recognize how wonderful and beautiful life can be when he lives in your heart! God bless you with all he is and all he has! In Jesus Christ's name I ask these mercies, amen!

Prayer of Salvation - Say It & Mean It Now!

Call to Prayer!!!!

has HE turned his back on you??? I think NOT!!!!

Hello and happy Saturday, another spectacular morning here in Utah..68 degrees, a titch of a breeze, sun shine, and clear, blue, skies:) This week has been so beautiful. Sitting outside in the mornings has been such a wonderful blessing, I hate being cooped up inside, I love hearing the world awaken, I love seeing the gifts that our Father in Heaven allows us each day! God is GOOOOOOOOOD:)
In prayer this morning, I prayed for each of you, I prayed for those who have come with special request this week, for those who are suffering pain and sickness, for those suffering depression, love matters, financial difficulties, fear of loss, and for those who have suffered a separation of faith. So many come to me with prayer requests, some saying, "will you pray for me, he seems to listen to you better than me!" some saying, "I just don't even know if I believe any more, it seems every time I turn around something bad lands in my lap!" so many things are said from those who feel that God has turned his back on them. I am honored to pray for those who come to  me, it is a thrill for me to be able to lift those in need in prayer. Facebook alone, affords me change to pray many times for many situations throughout the day! I would say my biggest and most fervent prayer is for those who feel alone, who think God has walked away, for those who are lacking in faith, for those who are carrying so much upon their shoulders and feel that the weight has become to much and are ready to throw in the towel! Funny how we follow such simple life lessons without even thinking of them, if we are caught in a lightening storm, the first thing we do is fastly seek shelter, if we are warned of a hurricane...we make ready for it, if the tornado sirens go off, we rush to a safe place, if we know we have to go out in the rain, we cover ourselves to keep from getting wet. When a ship is out on the seas and darkness is all around they seek the lighthouse to guide them in to safe harbors, and the list goes on and on. No matter how simple, even as buckling up when we drive for our safety, to taking our prescribed meds to keep our bodies and minds healthy. We all know what it is to seek shelter and to be safe...but when it come to God, we think oh well...he has turned his back on me and I am alone...WHAT? Why in the heavens would he have given his son in sacrifice if he were going to give up on us? Why would he give you chance after chance if he were, in the end, going to walk away? Could it be that we have given up on him? Could it be that we are spoiled children and when things do not go the way we wish for them to, we turn away? Could it be that we are impatient, stubborn, childish and spoiled? Yes I think that is the better question for us to ponder! When we get in our minds that God has walked away, that he is not with us, that he is not blessing us, we open a gap between us and him, this gap serves a mighty purpose, but one that I am not willing to open....when there is a gap in our faith there is room and opportunity for satan to step right on in there, to point out to you each moment how your life is not going right, he is there to point out to you all the things that you are missing out on, he is there to urge you into things that you know in your heart are not right, but you do them anyway because he is there pushing you forward! God is not pushy, he is not an instigator, he is GOD, he is the only truth, he has offered us eternal life in the heavens, he is the one that hurts when we hurt, when we make mistakes, when we stumble...but he will not push himself on us, we have to ask him daily to be in your life, we have to go to him, "on bended knees" and affirm each and everyday that he is who we want to follow! He will not come through a closed door, he has to be asked in each and every time! Satan will come in anywhere you leave an opening, he is standing ready and willing to point out to you how miserable your life is, he is the one who cannot wait for you to make a mistake and not repent, he is the one who uses underhanded means to win you over! Allowing satan in your life is like putting a bandage on a gaping wound, following our Father in Heaven is like a wound healing from the inside out, being constantly tended , constantly cleaned and medicated, constantly watched over for have 2 doctors to choose from, the one who in your mind is the quick fix, who never worries about infection setting in, only worrying about the outer layer and one who cares, one who knows it may take longer for the outside to heal but takes the time because he does not what to risk what could come down the road if the inside does not heal first. Today I pray that you will know in your hearts that God will never walk away from you, you are the one that walks away. That God is the truth, he really is the light that guides the boats in safely, he is the doctor who heals from the inside out, he is the shelter we need to stay safe in the storms! I pray that you know that no matter the wrongs you have done, how far of a gap you have placed between HIM and yourself, that it only takes an apology through prayer to close the road is to long, no hill is to high, no river to deep to keep him from you if only you ask him to stand by you! God bless you all in your worries, God bless you all in your struggles, God bless you all in your quest for peace, calm and comfort! I love you and am here standing ready to lift you and yours in prayer at any time!
