I need to do work internally to be a better example externally???

Good morning and happy, happy, Tuesday:) I first would like to thank those who took time to offer your heartfelt congrats about the news of me becoming a "Mimi" the wishes are so appreciated and really touched my heart:)
This morning in prayer as I sat in my quiet place, as my prayers for you and yours were coming to an end I then asked God if I could bend his ear for a moment longer as it was brought to my attention yesterday that I complain a lot, when it was put to me yesterday, my first instinct was to lash out but I did not...I let it absorb into my mind and I really sat and thought about the words. As they came from someone I respect whole heartedly I really thought about it...I then said to this certain someone, "well I do have a lot of aches and pains in my body!" trying to compensate for what I was hearing. Then this was put to me..." I know your body hurts and I know you have a lot of sickness in your body, you do not really complain about that. in that... that is not the issue !, You complain about life, about the way people "don't get it" about how others are living their lives etc...!" I had to absorb this even deeper as I had no idea I was doing this....I like to think that I am for the most part, upbeat, happy, patient, understanding, accepting...etc..., after I sat and pondered this issue, I see where I have much room for improvement! I "do" complain a lot, I do get so frustrated when people continue to do what they are doing and time and again fall down, when all they have to do is ask God to help them.! I felt embarrassed, I felt ashamed, and I felt sad! SO, today I have awakened with a new light bulb in the socket and am ready to stop complaining! I must realize that I  cannot change others... this is my first course of action, even if I can see that the road they are on is not a good road, I cannot change the direction they are going, All I can do is stick to my own direction and be a good example, if they chose not to turn around and get back on course I have to let them continue on, all I can do is pray for them! ( note to self, pray for them and leave them in God's hands) I feel sad in knowing that the person that brought this to light for me has had to endure my "complaining" much and I pray that I can be rid of this negative trait and allow a more positive me to be seen. Sometimes the truth hurts, but I am so thankful there is truth! My first response was to throw out an excuse for why I complain as I do....there is no excuse except for the fact that I think everyone should be on the same road and driving in the right direction...I am so very thankful that this comment was made to me, sometimes we all need a reality check, we all need to clean our  mirrors so that we can see our flaws more clearly! I love this person more today than I did yesterday for being honest with me!
I began this morning in prayer as I said, and then went to my scriptures and googled "leading by example" WOW, there are many, many, many bible verses regarding this subject! Much to many for me to post...I read through them and chose a few that really touched my heart! If you can, take time today to follow the link below and see if there is room in your life to apply some of them! EYE OPENER I say  to you...
1 Timothy 4:12...Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity....

1 Peter 5:3...Not domineering over those in charge, but being examples of the flock...

Galatians 6:1...brothers if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him  in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

I love each of you and pray that if a person come to you to point out a negative you are participating in, that you will recognize it as constructive and you will ponder the action and ask our Father in Heaven what you can do internally to be a better example externally! May this day be filled with answers to prayers, may you feel the love of God in all that you do, may your light shine brightly so that someone in the darkness may find their way! God is love, he is amazing and he is yours if only you allow it! Peace be with you!

Do you have time for a chat????

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Funny, that is the way I greet you each day:) Are you bored with it yet? It is a good morning!!! Each morning that I open my eyes and get out of  bed is a good morning!!! Each morning that I open my eyes and thank him for another day is a good day! I say good morning to you as I pray, that it is indeed a "GOOD" morning for me, that I feel the way I do...thankful for yet another day!
In prayer this morning I sat in my quiet place and prayed to our Father in heaven, I thanked him for allowing my message...well not my message, but his leadership in my writing....to touch the heart of someone last evening, it makes my writing worth every minute that it takes when I hear that something I have written has helped them, has touched them, has given them a new and fresh outlook! I feel so blessed, so very very blessed when this happens, when I get the feedback that I get! I ask God each morning to guide my fingers, to allow me a message that need be said, to allow me to put into print what he needs to be heard, I am so blessed that I have never been left without direction and guidance by him. I believe so strongly in the power of prayer...just in the last three and a half months I have seen such miracles, I have been witness to healings, to mendings of broken hearts, I have heard the stories from so many who have been blessed by prayer. It is amazing, it is miraculous, it is beautiful:) I stand with my arms lifted to the heavens this morning, and praise him and I ask you to stand with me this morning! If you have not taken time to "chat" with him,  please do something nice for you and do so! It is the perfect way to get your morning started! I will admit it is a bit difficult and uncomfortable if you are not used to it, but it is something that you master almost immediately. He will put you at ease instantly and nothing you say will offend him or shock him as he already knows what is in your heart, what is going on in your mind and what you are in need of, I think he just needs for us to tell him. I think when we talk it out with him it makes us more aware of ourselves, it makes us more diligent in our quest to achieve, it makes us feel humility to put it in to words! Give yourself the gift of God this morning and watch how differently your day goes, watch how much more calm you are and watch how much more receptive others are to you and your energy! I would love to hear from you, others are in need of your story as well! God bless you this day, may he bless you with the needs in your heart!

As always please go to the comment section and feel free to let us know of any specific prayer requests you have, we stand ready to lift those in need in prayer many times this day! God is love, he is merciful and if we go through our savior Jesus Christ all of our prayers will be answered.

Question of the morning! "Is God really real?"

Good morning, and happy Monday! We are overcast this morning with a bit of a wind picking up, 76 degrees and expect to have some rain showers throughout the afternoon! I see that my friends in Texas got a hint of rain yesterday, prayers are answered, will continue to pray for more so that your grounds can get really good and soaked!
I slept in this morning....something I rarely do.....for me to sleep later than 7 a.m. is amazing, I guess my body was in need so praise the Lord!!!! In prayer as I sat out in the gusty wind I realized how much I miss when I sleep late, the sunrise has come and gone...the bugle call at the near by air force base has already taken place, the birds have made their way to where they will be holding fort so I missed the morning ritual they do before the move! Funny how just a little change in our routine can throw us off balance!
I was in prayer this morning and again the thought that came to mind was for those in need of finding Christ, for those who continue to turn from him, for those who continually turn their backs and deny him. I know he wills for each of us to share his love, to be examples of Christ and to never deny who he is and what he has done for us, I know we are getting close to the last of days and so many are still sitting on the fence wondering if he is real, if he is there, if he is our salvation! Many people ask me..."how do you know, really know, that he is real? "I can only say to you, that I know he IS from the events that have happened in my life, I know he IS by being witness to the blessings he has give me and each of you! I know he IS real... when I pray, when I chat, when I need him, he is always there. I have had hard knocks, I have suffered loss of possessions, I have lost loved ones, I have struggled, I continue to struggle, but it is not because he is not real, it is because these hardships are learning tools in life, if everything was peaches and cream how would we learn lessons and how could we strengthen our faith?
I know in my heart that he is needing my words to touch the heart of someone who has either turned away from him altogether or is really struggling with their faith! Very rarely does he touch my heart with the same type of message two days running! I will continue to pray that whomever is in need will read this and will if nothing more ask me about my faith, ask me about the troubles I have seen and how I have overcome, it was only by his love, his hand and his sacrifice. I have a daughter that I love most in the entire world, she is my everything, she is my heartbeat! I cannot imagine her not being in my life..not even for a day! I cannot imagine having to make a choice to either save her or save multitudes of people. I would never have been able to sacrifice her so that all could have everlasting life. I would never have been able to place her on a cross and watch her perish so that the very people that had hurt her could live! He gave his only begotten son for us...for every one of us and I feel that they worst thing we could do would be to deny him, to follow satan, to not appreciate the sacrifice is such a slap in the face to our Father in Heaven. I cannot imagine not having unconditional love, knowing that no matter how bad my life gets I have someone in my corner is such a comfort to me, I cannot imagine how life would be without prayer, without knowing that I can, through, the savior speak to God any time I wish! I am posting the "salvation prayer" again this morning, if you have questions or comments please feel free to comment here, if you would rather remain anonymous there is that option for you! I love you all and pray that today might be the first day for someone in need! God bless you, won't you take his hand and allow him to touch your heart as he has touched so many others?

God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
The problem is that . . .

2All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”
The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”
Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."
God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4If you want to accept Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

Don't wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Pray this with us:
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Prayer of Salvation - I've Prayed It; Now What?
If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
