Out of the mouths of babes come PRAYERS that are so pure!

Good evening, I apologize for being so late with my blog tonight, I had to take some medicine earlier and guess it really knocked me out. I am just now waking from a long nap! I pray your day has been a good one and that you are now home, fed and ready to relax and rest!

In prayer this evening I prayed my normal nightly prayers, asking God for peace, calm and comfort and to continue to allow us freedoms in speaking His name and worshipping Him. I asked Him to bless all who are struggling with illness and disease, that you might be comforted with His love and filled with will by His strength. I pray for all who are battling depression, addiction, financial woes, relationship issues, troubles with your children, lack of faith and for those who seem to be in the darkness. God promised us when He gave His only son that He would never step away from us or let us fail as long as we continue to seek Him and reach our hands out to Him. If you are feeling as if He is not with you are you reaching for Him? Father bless us with your never ending love and with your grace and mercy. In the name of Christ our savior. Amen.

My little story tonight is one that is not so far from things my little G~babe prays, she too is 4 and never denies a chance to get to bless our meals, for Thanksgiving dinner she asked my permission if she could say "the grace" when it was time to each. She is an amazing little prayer and when she is done you know you have been prayed for! Out of the mouths of babes and oh to be that pure and faith filled!

Victoria's Prayer

A couple weeks ago, I heard what I think was one of the most beautiful prayers of my life. A group of friends had gathered, and before we ate, someone asked Victoria if she would like to lead in the prayer.

Victoria is barely 4 years old, and she hesitated at first. But with a little coaxing from her Mom, she agreed to it.

As she bowed her head to pray, her demeanor and the words she said showed what a child-like faith is really like. Her prayer was a wonderful example of what it is like to pray believing that God hears our prayers, that He is all-powerful, that He loves us and wants to meet our needs, and that He will answer when we call on Him in the name of Jesus. Of these things, Victoria was certain, even if she couldn't articulate it like an adult.

There were apparently three things that she wanted to talk to God about in that moment. The first was that she was glad she was about to eat. The second was that her grandmother had cancer, and that she was going to soon have a surgery to try to remove the cancerous tissue. Doctors didn't give her a good chance of recovery, though, as it was a "fast-growing" kind of cancer. The third thing on Victoria's mind was a missionary named Gretchen, who had spoken at our church not long ago. Gretchen's plea to the church to pray for the salvation of the people of India where she and her husband are missionaries penetrated Victoria's heart, if it escaped the adults in attendance.

Here's what Victoria said, in her four-year-old language to God in that moment: "Dear God, Thank You for this food. And thank You for Nana. And please make the bad stuff come out of her soon. And pray for Miss Gretchen. And the people up in India that You would forgive them. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Then she opened her eyes, smiled, and started eating. Everything was taken care of. The simplicity of a four-year-old's faith and prayer had dealt with the complex problems of the world she was in. I think I'll remember Victoria's prayer for a long time.

By the way, Victoria's grandmother had that surgery three days ago. The doctors were baffled. They couldn't find any cancer and are wondering what on earth happened.

I am inviting you to be our Prayer warrior tonight, will YOU do me the honor?

Good evening, another end of the day close at hand, this day has been a good day, got some wonderful answers to prayers and although I have not felt well today and slept for 4 hours this afternoon, I am feeling hopeful and full of faith! So much sadness this week has come down the path, so many affected by loss that will take a very long time to heal, please be mindful that they will need your strength for a long time to come. I ask that you come and pray with me this night, such struggles in the world, such strife in hearts, such pain and suffering. If we band together as great prayer warriors I know we will see miracles on the horizon. God is amazing and if we ask humbly through Christ we will begin to see changes! Pray, pray, pray and make a difference today! Love to each of you and know that you are loved, you are appreciated, and your prayers are such a blessing to me!

Tonight I would like to ask if you would lift prayer for us, would you take a moment and lift prayers for this day? I would so appreciate it!

Calling all prayer warriors, please join me in prayer this night!

Good evening and happy Friday night, it was a wonderful day here in Utah, 88 degrees and sunny, this evening a nice rain moved in and now we are at a breezy 65 degrees:) I enjoyed sitting out with my grandbabies today, it is such a thrill to watch them enjoy the outside, the baby now 8 months is like her MIMI, she loves the birds singing, she loves the breeze and she loves giggling and laughing! Babies have such a wonderful way of making your heart smile.
Tonight I would like to invite each of you to join me in prayer, although I have not heard an update I know that one of my friends is still in threat of losing her leg due to infection and the meds are not repairing the problem, another is suffering with her kidneys, another with a new diagnosis of cancer being found in new areas, another filled with fear of her mother in law having a heart attack, broken hearts, financial woes, problems with children, loss of loved ones, and the list goes on and on! This morning I had 67 emails for prayer requests, it seems to grow each and every day, what a blessing to be honored in sharing prayers with so many. Each morning when I get prayer request I pray and then add the name to my circle of prayer list. It is amazing to me at how willing we all are to pray for those in need, thank you all so very much for being in my life. God is amazing allow him to be your number one and allow him to work through you! May you be blessed abundantly, if you are going out this night please remember to be mindful of drinking and driving, always have a back up plan:) Love in Christ to all!

Father,
May we remember that you are our love and our life, and relinquish whatever control we think we have each night.  Let us lie down in peace, ready to be nourished by you.  As our bodies drift off to sleep, I pray we will gladly hand over the cares of the day to You; hand over our very beings to You, and welcome Your voice.  May our ears and hearts be attentive to You. Transform our day, our actions, our very selves into what You want us to be.  Heal our pain.  Heal our broken hearts and lost dreams.  Renew our visions and refresh our bodies.  We praise You and thank You for Your Word and all the blessings we have through it.  Forgive us when we take it so lightly, and open our eyes to the value it has on our daily life.
We praise You and honor You.
In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen.

MONDAY, MONDAY... how are you looking at this day?????

Don't let this be the way you allow your MONDAY to be!

Hello and HAPPY MONDAY!!! yes lets put a little pep in that...HAPPY MONDAY!!! Monday seems to have such a bad name, it is always gone into with angst due to it being the ending of the weekend, and it seems to have taken on the same mantra as say...Friday the 13th, so many people look at MONDAY as if it is bad luck, they deem it the one day of the week that will be filled with upset and trial! Lets do something a little different today, lets look at it as only a vehicle, it is a mere stepping stone to Tuesday, bla, bla, bla. Don't get up this morning with the Oh No....it is MONDAY, get up this morning and say, hello MONDAY how are you my friend, lets thank God for this day because without it we would not make it to Tuesday or any of the days that follow.
It is all about Attitude, if we go to bed on Sunday night thinking about what will go wrong because tomorrow is MONDAY, I can assure you, something will go wrong, if we manifest bad, bad will be in our world. I bet at some point in your life you have heard the phrase..."don't buy trouble" it is truth, if we put bad thoughts out there in the universe, you will be met with bad! This being known are you going to buy trouble today or are you going to bring positive into your world, remember our thoughts determine much of the comings and goings of our days!  Lets join forces and only think positive thoughts today, lets band together and only allow good today, if you were at the market and there was a good isle and a bad isle, which would you choose to shop on?  Positive produces positive, negative produces negative, lets fill the world with positive today and see how MONDAY shapes up:)
God bless each of you today, if the load you are carrying is to heavy for one person and breaking your back, try asking God to lend a hand, he will take the bulk of the load from you! If the hurdle you are jumping today is extremely high, ask God to give you a boost, he will lift you up and you will clear it with room to spare, if the mountain you are climbing today is very steep and slick, ask God to make a stairway for you to climb with ease and trust that it will be done! Don't try and go it alone, you don't have to! Ask him to walk by your side and to help you see the hidden dangers, then walk with your head held high in the knowledge that "ain't nothing gonna break your stride" Remember...today is a gift, enjoy it, revel in it, and thank God for it!!! Love to each of you in his beautiful name, amen.
Positive makes positive, make this day a positive day, it is in your hands:)

Special prayer request for all prayer warriors, a family that many of you know has lost her husband, he fought a courageous battle and put up a good fight but our Father in Heaven needed him at this appointed time to progress in heaven and do his duty's there, he has earned his wings and is now walking the golden path along side our savior Jesus Christ and our Father. His family is left here without him and is suffering loss in their hearts, please, I come to you with prayer request for this family and for friends and loved ones, in the coming day, weeks, months, and years they will need the peace that only God can give to calm their hearts, Father I ask you to lay your loving hands upon them, to allow them to rest in your arms and feel the love and comfort that you can give, allow them to feel his spirit often, to revel in the memories they have when they feel they cannot go on without him, and allow them knowledge that you are with them each and every step of this journey! God bless them and keep them, amen!

Calling all Prayer Warriors, please pray with me:)

Mark 10:27
"Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."

Father I bow my head this evening to thank you for this beautiful day, for allowing us to get out in the warmth of the sunshine and enjoy family. Father thank you for allowing us the freedoms to pray without apprehension and for allowing us the freedoms to worship you in meetinghouses with no fear. I would like to ask father that you continue to bless those affected by the tornados as they rebuild, father continue to hold them in the  comfort of your arms  and allow rebuilding of all lost, allow peace of heart for those who lost loved ones and allow each one of them to continue banding together as a union in the beautiful Christian way that they have. Father be with those in Arizona suffering the fires, protect them from harm, be with the ones in flood zones, lay a shield of protection around them deterring damage to their homes. God I ask that you give special mercies to those suffering health problem, lay your hand upon them and heal the areas in need, we love you so much, we turn to you in all things and we ask that you continue to guide us, we promise to be more aware of your spirit, to hear your still quiet voice and forge forward in spreading your word and showing people through our deeds what your love is all about. God please be with our military, always keep them safe and bring them home to the ones who sit each day in fear and heartache of this war. I ask that you be with each and every one of us, that you will continue to show us the way, that you continue to allow us to repent of our sins and that your gentle mercy always be within us. I love you  and I know that with prayer and reverence you will help us in all things. I say these things from my heart, seal them up and lift them to the loving ears of Jesus Christ our savior, amen.
