I Double Dog Dare Ya!!!!!

 

  Good morning and Happy Saturday:) It is another beautiful day here in Utah, the sky is not as blue as yesterday, but still amazing...it is warmer out this morning, 43 degrees and little to no wind at all. I pray your morning is going well, that you are taking some time for you and that your day is full of fun plans not house "chore plans" Congrats to the Columbia Roughneck football team on their District Championship win! Those young men are unstoppable! Congrats to the Cardinals, World Series Champions for 2011, Ranger will just have to do it next year!!!!
      In prayer this morning I sat in total silence having a wonderful chat with our Father in Heaven, I fervently prayed my normal, usual prayers and then began to pray special specific prayers that were requested of me during the night and early this morning. In closing I asked God what I could do today to make a difference in someones life, how could I be of service to him, would he please show me where he needed me to be! Yesterday Wayde and I were our running some errands and I was looking at people, it seemed to me that overall there was no joy, there were no smiles or eye contact from the people we saw, most walking with their heads looking down, their shoulders slumped, their faces droll and frowny. Out of the few that did look around I only received one return smile and it was not even genuine! What has happened to us as a nation, I remember when you could go out and actually strike up a conversation with people in the market, I remember when people smiled and laughed but now it seems we are but a group of zombies just trudging along looking for our grave! I told Wayde that it is sad what we have become. I will never stop smiling, I will never stop laughing and I have decided to do a project today, everywhere that I go I will not just look for eye contact, I will say "hello, how are you today?" Hopefully I will get some type of response and before I walk away I vow that I will have done my dead level best to see a smile. I think we can get back to a happier existence if we put forth effort and make it happen. I ask that you join me in my quest today, if you can turn one frown upside down, then you have done your part! Let there be "happiness" on earth and let it begin with me:) LOL

Once again a beautiful morning is at hand, sunshine~~~64~~~nice breeze...but still these darned flies! I will be so happy when they decide Utah is no longer where they wish to be! I pray this morning is a beautiful one for you as well!
     If you read my blog last evening it had to do with random acts of kindness, have you started your day in that direction? Several have.... as I got a few private messages this morning on facebook....just to say..hello, how are you? Are you feeling better...etc. It made me smile to know that someone was thinking of me! Thank you, thank you, thank you to my friends for making me smile!
     I pray that today you will take part in sharing a random act of kindness with a complete stranger and I pray that you will let me know how it felt and how it was received. I love random acts of kindness and I am sure you do as well, let us be the ones to touch a heart today!
      God bless you with strength to get through this day, with knowledge that you should live, laugh and love as there is not promise of tomorrow, with a person in need of kindness ( look around, they are everywhere) and with the grit to walk up to a complete stranger and give them joy!  Hello and happy Monday!!! Today is a beautiful day outside, after the storm last night every thing seems clean and cheery, we are at 66 degrees, blue skies and sunshine with a forecast for 91 and sun all day long:)  I am praying for cool and rain relief for all of my friends in the south, some of the temperatures posted yesterday were crazy hot!
     This morning as I sat in prayer I prayed for each of you, asking God to bless you with peace in heart, comfort in body and calm in mind! I prayed for all of those who were effected by the hurricane, even though it was not nearly as devastating as it could have been, it still has left a multitude of people with so much loss, homes are flooded, and so many stranded and without electricity! Please continue to pray with me for the clean up crews, for the ones who will have to begin again and for patience and faith in all! I sat here in the quiet calm, chatting with my Father in heaven and felt so thankful that I am able to sit and chat with him each and every morning, each and every afternoon and each and every evening! No doubt this is one of the biggest blessings in my life. I am so thankful for each of you who continue to be such inspirations to me, for being strength and wonder in my eyes, we all have a story to tell and in telling our story we help others to know that they are not alone in the troubles they are experiencing in their personal lives. Today I ask that you take time to recognize those that are struggling and be a light to them, thank God for what you do have and pray for someone who is lacking! I ask that you lay down your woes and pray for others, quit living in the sadness in your life, raise your head toward the "son" and be the example and strength for someone who is in need! Give of yourself as God has given of his, and watch the miracle of friendship and relief on someone else's face. Be free from prejudice and nay,nay,nay thoughts and give of yourself! I know blessings are stacked one on top of the other just waiting to be given, but we have to be willing to work for them! I think giving a smile, a kind word, a prayer...etc...is a very small sacrifice for the wonderment God is willing to give to those who show him they want to be more like Christ! Join me if you will and lets make a difference in someones heart today, instead of being frustrated at others moods, at others attitudes...pray for them for you have not walked in their shoes and you have no idea what is going on in their lives! Positive produces positive, negative...negative....what kind of force will you be today???? I am going for the positive:)
Love to each of you and know that you can make a difference, it is like the domino effect, it only takes the first domino being pushed over to make the others follow suit:)

 Good morning and happy Wednesday, 57 degrees here in Utah this morning, as a mile breeze dusts my face, the sky is without even a little cloud, only clear and blue! I sit here this morning as I often do, eager to hear the trumpet blare the call to duty from the air force base that is just across the way, eager for the sun to peak over the mountain and spill upon my face and shoulders, eager to see what is in store for me this day:)
     May this day be filled with love for each of you, may the love you hold in your heart spill out of you today, may you touch someone in need of kindness, in need of understanding and in need of just a minute of confirmation that they too are loved! May you take what God has given you and share it this day, your knowledge that he is the truth, that his love is promise and that his love will carry us through even the darkest most violent of storms if we hold to our faith and trust with all of our heart that he will. (smiling from ear to ear, the trumpets are blaring loudly) May this day be filled with peace for you, if you are battling an internal war or an external war, may you feel his peace in your heart and may he shine his light of solution upon you, may he replace in you any fear, worry, stress or upset with peace, slow down, let him speak through you and watch how fast your turmoil turns to peace. May he provide comfort in you, if you are suffering illness, whether it be short or long term, may he comfort you and ease your pain, if you are struggling with a broken heart may he lay his hands upon yours and mend it, if you are having financial woes, may he be the banker and help you with a new plan.  May he provide you with wisdom today, if you are in the throws of a decision that must be made and you are overwhelmed by it, ask him which way you should go and then sit back and watch him direct you. May you be blessed with the power to listen and see today, he has the answers it is just that we neglect to see and hear them. Today may you know the value of YOU, may you feel how important you are in his plan and may you follow his lead! Look for the beauty in this day, he works ardently at blessing each of us with his mercy and grace, don't ignore what he is giving you, let it absorb in to you and praise him for his gift.      It is a beautiful, warm, sunny, Saturday:) Sitting outside in shorts and sleeves is comfortable even in the shade:) Thanks to God that I awoke this morning, thanks be to him that I get to live another day here on earth, thanks to him for giving me vision to see what I need to do to make a difference and thanks to him for allowing me to see the answer to prayers this week, healing is on the bodies of so many that we have prayed over, comfort has been in the words for many that we have lifted in prayer, and each day the circle is honored by at least one more person filled with his love, willing to join us in prayer. God is so good!!!!
     Today I pray that each of you has awaken with a fresh spirit, that you are not looking at the chores of the day with the blahs, but that you will take time to do what is most important in life, '"stop and smell the roses" spend quality time with those that you love, do something nice for you, make a call to someone you have not chatted with in a while, maybe come up with a special outing??? I pray that if you have suffered illness during the week that you are feeling better today, that if you have suffered loss this week that their spirit be in every step you take so that you know even though they are physically gone, they are still with you, I pray that if the weather permits, you get outside and marvel at the heavenly artwork that God created for the day, and I pray most of all that you feel the love that so many have for you, that you feel your worth and that your smile will be just what someone needs to lighten their load:) God bless you, each of you, with his love, mercy and grace.
